I was relieved that Alex had taken my advice and decided not to go to find Alita again. It seemed dangerous, how could she send a voice note if she's kidnapped.
Knowing Marcel, that's if it's actually Marcel that kidnapped her, he wouldn't give her access to phone or any Internet at all, just like he did me. So why would she suddenly reach out to Alex.
Besides, how does she know his number offhand? Wow…the more I think about it, the more I realize that Alex was actually lucky that I was standing in the room while they talked otherwise he would have rushed out without thinking, trying to save Alita not knowing that it was a trap.
