Lucas’ POV Pine trees peaked at us from beneath their new white caps. Snow picked up by the wind danced through the air, blinding the sky from view and adding a fresh layer of white to the scene. She stood there under the sun and between the trees with white snow clinging to her dark hair. Brown hair famed her face, coiling in the wind away from her shoulder. There was something different with this scene, something that wanted to tug me away. When blue flames blazed in her eyes, I knew that tug couldn’t do anything to make me leave. I’d watch those eyes burn villages if I could. I’d play with that fire and surely burn myself to hold her. The untouched snow crunched under my foot when I stole the first step towards her.
