ORPHANED AT FIVE, CILLIAN DEL MUNDO grew up trained as a sentinel by the person who adopted him to prepare for his official induction to a secret organization that fights lawless fiends. Entering Saint Augustine Academy is his ticket to finding out the whereabouts of his suspected targets. There, Cillian learns that the villains he thought he'd be dealing with aren't ordinary criminals as expected. Not when he discovers that the popular jock of said institute is a Baylan that revives the dead and he witnesses the girl who transferred that same day he did fearlessly wield a bolo proficiently and hacks hounds of the Kasisidman with much gusto.

Already confused what situation he inadvertently got into, it worsened when the budding abilities he so desperately trying to repress flared in magnified proportions, allowing him to see his surroundings in a new light. Darker and more menacing, everything is not what it seems. In desperation to understand what is happening to him, Cillian purposefully snuck himself into the dominion of Sinags: mortals and immortalized mortals who battle the forces of darkness that threaten humanity. Here, he learns and finds out things more than he imagined. Will these beings help him finally find those responsible for his loss, or are they the ones truly to be accounted for?
