EVAN'S POV

I've been feeling weird since morning. My wolf keep circling and jumping which was giving me headache.

'What's wrong? Why don't you sit down for a while? your jumping and excitement is giving me headache.' I asked him getting annoyed.

'Atleast give me a reason why you're so excited and jumpy today huh?' I asked him wanting to know the reason of his behavior. Jake is always so calm and for some unknown reason he's been so excited today.

' I don't know exactly why I'm this excited but I can say that something good is going to happen today.' After saying that he went to sleep. I know he was not sleeping but pretending to be. But I let it slide because for some time I get to have my peace back.

I was looking for my mom when someone bumped into my legs. I looked down to see Jessie is on the floor giving me an annoyed look.

" Why Moon Goddess has given eyes to everyone when you guys don't know how to use it?! First it was Carter who bumped into me and push me to floor and now it's you. God!! Use your eyes when you are walking!!" She said completely annoyed getting up from the floor.

"I'm sorry Jessie I didn't see you. I was looking for mom have you seen her?" I asked her picking her up.

Jessie is my sister. She is only 7 years old. Carter is my brother he is 20 years old. He is 2 years younger than me. I'm 22 years old. I haven't found my mate yet. Carter found his mate Lisa last year when he went to New York. Lisa is a vampire but she is sweet not like the other ones. She is from Royal pack but she moved to my pack when she found Carter. She always talks how her life was in Royal Pack. She told us how Queen saved her from some wolves who were trying to take her and her sisters to their pack. But Queen stopped and killed them then take them to her pack. She and her sisters are good friends with the Queen. Queen treats everyone with respect and equality. What I've heard from Lisa I can say that Queen is very kind and strong.

Today is the day when we all gather in camping grounds to enjoy barbecue and bond with pack members. We were enjoying when I smell an amazing scent. It was very refreshing kind of like wet soil and some flowers I can't explain which flower is it. But it was attracting me badly.

"Where is this scent coming from?" I asked Jackson sniffing around. Jackson is my beta and my best friend. We have been friends since we were 2 years old.

" What scent?!" He asked me confused.

"You don't smell it? it's very strong and kind of unique." I told him but he was still looking confused.

'How can he not smell it? It's very unique and fresh.' I asked my wolf.

'Because it's our mate's scent ofcourse he can't smell it i***t! Now let's go and look for her before she go far!' He told me ready to take control.

After hearing the word MATE I was as eager as him to go look for her. I ran towards the direction from where scent was coming. I get there in no time But I was late she was gone. Last place I got her scent was in the human camping site. Which was a little before our territory.

Why did she left? Doesn't she want to meet me? She don't want a mate? Is she rejecting me? My heart was hurting thinking about her rejecting me.

' Stop making assumptions!! We are at human camping site maybe is a human. That's why she didn't look for us or maybe she did but couldn't find us.' My wolf said assuring me to give me strength to search for her. Maybe he is right. Maybe she is a human that's why she couldn't find us. Yes that's the reason. Even if she is a human I will still accept and love her more than anything else. I will protect her, shower her with love and happiness only.

'But will she accept me after knowing who I am?? What if she gets scared after knowing our identity?' I asked my wolf thinking about the her reaction.

'If she is our mate then there will be a reason why Moon Goddess has paired us' He said to me.

"What happened? Why did you ran away from there? Are you okay?" Carter asked panting and worried. Behind him were Lisa and Jackson. Both were looking as confused and worried as Carter.

"I'm okay. I ran away because I smelled my mate here." I told them smiling.

"Where is she? Why isn't she with you?" Lisa asked.

"She was gone before I came here." I told her.

"It's okay atleast we know that she is in Paris." Lisa said comforting me.

"Yeah! I will find her." I said determined.

We were going when wind blew. I looked where the wind was coming from. I looked back to see Lisa looking there to with a confused face.

"What happened?" I asked her.

She shooked her head and said " maybe I am missing my family so much that now I'm smelling them here. There is no way she is here and didn't tell me."

I patted her back to comfort her. We heard growl we looked back to see Carter giving me 'move away' look. I put my hands up and said "She is all yours"

"I know she is mine. Let's go and enjoy the barbecue before all the meat is finished." Carter said hugging Lisa from behind. I chuckled. Since I shifted for the first time I have been looking for her. I wanted to wait for my mate. I don't want to hurt her in any way. Because I know I will feel hurt if she didn't wait for me and have someone in her life. Even the thought of her being with someone else makes my blood boil.

"Let's go and eat!" I said to them making our way back to the camping site.

It's been 1 week since the barbecue party. I've been trying to find her but no luck yet. I know I will find her no matter what. I was doing some paperwork in my office when my phone beeped telling me that I have a message. I checked it was from Carter.

"'Today I invited our model to dinner. She wanted to eat some authentic French food and I know Mom loves to cook so she will be happy. And don't worry she is very sweet she won't do anything bad to our pack so it won't be a problem. I knew you would say yes. Thanks! Bye!'"

It's okay as long as she doesn't create any problem. Mom loves to cook for people I'm sure she will be happy to have a guest. I told mom about Carter and his guest and as I thought she was happy to meet her. My mom is a designer and she owns a clothing company. She is now working from home. She goes office every now and then but Carter is taking care of her company. Mom wanted me to take care of her company but I'm an Alpha I have pack duties to do so I couldn't handle her company at the same time. Carter said he will do it since he is into photography and fashion. He is doing great managing the company. I'm proud of him. Lisa is on a business trip. She works with Carter. She will be back tonight. I was getting ready when I got mind link from Carter. He said she will be here in 5 minutes. I told him I'm coming.
