Chapter Three: The Meeting Part II

When I looked up there stood the most alluring man I have ever set my eyes on. His gorgeous forest green eyes that shine in the light, his almost perfect nose from looks of being broken but not healed to his uneven but full lips, his high cheek bones and his sharp jaw line with a bit of stubble. Roaming my eyes, a bit further to his broad shoulders that I so badly want to run my hands on and run them down to his abs and feel him shiver from the single touch of my hands. Shaking that idea from my mind I can tell he has a six or eight pack just by the way his shirt hugs his torso. Having my eyes go lower down to his legs that are long and muscular but not too much to make it unattractive. Roaming my eyes back to his green ones I found he was checking me out too once his eyes meet mine it felt like the whole world around us just stopped and shut down. It looked like he was standing where the light was shining down on him nothing but him in the room or more like the doorway but you understand the jiffs of it.

Snapping out of it by one word that I have always wanted to and not hear for the longest time. 

“Mate” he whispered so silently for I could only hear him for the sake of my werewolf hearing but upon hearing the word come out of his beautifully shaped lips that look to be touched by my very own li- 

Raven! Snap out of it you know you can’t not yet anyways.

“huh… oh sorry am I late?” I asked no one in particular, trying to ignore the man I think is my mate because the scent that’s coming from him.

“No, we were just getting started” Tristan my brother said

“ok… um excuse me?” I said to the man that was still blocking the door way.

My mate kept staring at me with what looked like longing, adore and something else that I can’t quite comprehend. So, I cleared my throat to give him a hint to move and he did so by going to the side with his arms out as a sign to go through. 

“Ok so what’s this meeting about?” I said looking at my father who is at the side of Alpha Chris who I slightly bow to show submissive.

“Well we’re doing a pack gathering.” he said 

“Why?” 

“Because my son Chance here came back from Training today, so it’s a welcoming and so he can find his mate to take over my place as alpha” Alpha Chris said.

Time felt like it stopped, my mate the one that is still by the door is next to the alpha position…
