“Holly!” Cooper shouted once he was about five feet away from the table. The brownie was all but forgotten as he tossed his plate down and ran for his friend. Holly hugged his son’s neck, a smile on her face. “We get to sit at the same table!” “I know. My mom saw your snowflake,” Holly explained, finally letting Cooper go. “Where is Michael gonna sit?” “Probably up there with his mom and dad.” Holly pointed at the head table behind her. “I bet he’ll get to dance with us, though.” The music playing was more up tempo than the songs that had been playing previously, and she was bouncing a bit as she spoke. “We should go dance now.
