Capturing Culprit!
The city was crowded with men and women hurrying to their workplaces. Towering skyscrapers rose into the sky. Amid the city's tension, a black sedan swiftly slipped through traffic. Dressed in an oversized T-shirt and jeans, a woman sat behind the wheel with one hand casually resting on it. She looked almost carefree. Yet a deep furrow creased her forehead as her eyes darted across the area. Just as she was taking a U-turn— ~Ring... Ring... Ring~ Her phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen. [RIA] Seeing the name, she answered the call without hesitation. "Ma'am, we've found out where he's heading. It's Metron International Airport. He's heading toward the fourth gate." A female voice came from the other end. Without wasting a second, she replied. Her voice was soft and pleasant, yet there was something sharp etched into it. "Okay. I'll head to the fourth gate. You and the others cover the rest. This time, he won't escape." "I sent all his information to your phone, Ma'am," said Ria from the other end. "Thanks. I'll check it." After replying, she ended the call and turned her sedan toward the airport. After driving through the roads and highways for ten minutes, she reached the airport. She parked the car underground and came out of the lift while checking the message Ria had sent her. "...So, he's the little thief." She said this, arching one of her eyebrows. On the phone screen was information about a man, along with a video. A strange man sat in the airport's waiting area, covering his face with a black cap and mask and wearing a black blazer. In his hand was a black bag, which he was covering with his coat. He constantly checked the time while tapping his foot on the ground in a hasty rhythm. The video was playing on the phone, with additional information displayed below it. "So, this is where you're hiding?" After checking the information, she put her phone in her pocket and moved toward the reception area. Approaching one of the counters, she asked politely, "Excuse me, may I know when the next flight to Mirdina is?" The receptionist checked her tablet before replying. "Oh, it should be in the next sixteen minutes." Hearing the answer, she thanked the receptionist and moved toward the main lobby. 'So, I have approximately ten minutes now. I have to find him quickly.' Dismissing the thought, she started searching for him. She went to the waiting area and checked it thoroughly before moving toward the check-in area. Unfortunately, she found nothing. After searching for five minutes, she took out her phone and scrolled through her contact list. [RIA] Finding the call log, she called Ria in one swift motion. After two rings, the phone was answered, and Ria's calm yet feminine voice came from the other end. "Ma'am, we've covered all the remaining gates and are currently monitoring the CCTV. If we find anything, we'll report it to you immediately." "Okay, and if you find h—" As she was about to reply, her voice abruptly stopped when something—or rather, someone—caught her eye. A man was coming toward her. Black mask and cap, black blazer, and black bag in hand. "Ria, check the CCTV at the fourth gate and tell me if he is the one we're looking for." After looking at him carefully, she suddenly ordered Ria. "Yes, Ma'am." Ria replied without wasting a breath. On the other side, Ria went through her tablet and found the man. 'Same attire, same build. Oh, and he's avoiding the cameras.' After checking, she immediately replied to her boss. "Ma'am, I think he's the one. He's avoiding the areas with cameras." Hearing Ria's answer, she paused for a moment, thinking. After a few seconds, she replied, "I'll check on him. Remain in your position and check the routes to Mirdina's flight." Putting the phone down, she quietly followed him. He moved through the checking area, went to the restroom, came back, moved to the shopping area, and then returned to the checking area. He moved in circles until he eventually went to the parking lot. All the while, she quietly followed him, but she also knew that he had noticed her. Moving through the underground parking lot, she reached her car, quickly opened it, and picked up a gun from the dashboard. The man coming into the parking lot moved toward a black car, opened the door, and put his bag inside. While he was putting the bag inside, she approached him quietly and placed her gun against his back. She whispered in a soft yet very cold tone. Her voice was enough to freeze an entire lake. "If you don't want your family to attend your funeral tomorrow, then quietly come with me." Hearing the voice and feeling something cold yet familiar against his back, the man's eyes widened for a moment before his expression returned to neutral. 'I was too arrogant. I thought I could let them capture me, and I would deal with the whole source at once.' 'But the last thing I expected in an arms-banned country was a gun.' Resigning himself to his fate, he chose to follow his kidnapper. "Come with me," she said in a cold voice as she led him toward her car. After reaching the car, she threw his cap onto the parking lot floor and swiftly covered his face with another black cloth. "Get in," she said to him in a detached tone. Hearing her voice, he quickly got into the back seat of the car. But before getting in, he quietly pressed a button on his watch. The watch blinked for one second before the light faded. After adjusting himself in the back seat, she took one of the seat belts and quickly tied him up so he couldn't move. After tying him up, she put her gun on the dashboard and quickly left the airport. After driving through the traffic for a few minutes, they eventually reached the bungalow. She parked the car in the garage. Coming out of the car, she dragged him out. Her eyes darted around for a moment before she found a chair and a rope. Tying him to the chair, she left the garage and entered the bungalow. The bungalow was simple yet well decorated. Everything was neat. It gave off a warm and cozy atmosphere. After entering her room, she threw her clothes aside, grabbed a towel, and went for a warm bath. Bathing in a massive bathtub filled with warm water, she recalled her day. "Today was totally chaotic. After the meeting, I had to look for that bastard..." She talked to herself, trying to vent her frustration. But when she recalled a certain face that had caused her all these troubles, her frustration only grew, and she clenched her hands tightly to calm herself down. After two hours, she came out of the bath, returned to her room, quickly changed into a silky robe, and dried her hair with a hair dryer. Coming into the living area, she tossed herself onto the sofa. Grabbing her phone, she ordered takeout and turned on the television. After a few minutes, the doorbell rang. With great effort, she lifted herself from the sofa and took the order. Enjoying her food while watching her favorite web series, she had a very soft and beautiful smile on her face. It was enough to incite a war between nations. A scene suddenly appeared on the television. Seeing the ongoing scene, her face went pale as she recalled something she had forgotten. [...Adam, why? Why did you kidnap Ella? What has she done? Your enmity is with me. She has nothing to do with this, Adam. Release her this instant...] [Do you think it will be this easy to get your hands on her, Daniel? Do you think it's a fairy tale?...] Shutting off the television with one swift motion, she quickly moved to the garage. Opening the garage door and turning on the light, she saw a man bound to a chair, shaking vigorously as he struggled. With a slight smirk on her face, she crossed her arms over her chest and moved toward the man. Looking at his struggling state, she said to him, "This is what happens when you mess with me." Hearing the voice, his shaking stopped abruptly as he turned his face toward her. Looking at him for a moment, she removed his face covering and mask. When the cloth and mask touched the ground, her eyes widened upon seeing the scene in front of her. And in a trembling voice, she asked... "W-who are you?"
