Chapter 29: The Day After
Emmeline’s POV Soft rays of sunlight disturbed me from my slumber. I stretched out my limbs and hissed slightly at the soreness I felt throughout my body. Everything from last night came flooding back to me. I closed my eyes as I replayed the events from last night. My fingers reached up and graced my lips that were still swollen from our love-making. I smiled as I recalled everything I shared with my mate. When I opened my eyes, I looked around the room and took in the small details of my mate. Similar to the cabin the walls of the room were a shade of green, making me wonder if that was his favorite color.
