Chapter 27: The Bond
Emmeline’s POV Lily rushes me upstairs into my room and basically pushes me into the bathroom to shower and freshen up. I turn on the shower and lean against the counter staring at my reflection. Looking at myself I feel like this is the best I have ever looked. My skin appears to be glowing and my once hazel eyes now shine grey. My hair has a healthy shine and tumbles in waves down to the middle of my back. I start to wonder if my bond with Clark is helping with my appearance. Lily pounds on the bathroom door disturbing my thoughts. “You better be in that shower!” She yells on the other side of the door causing me to roll my eyes.
