Chapter Ten
Yoongi took off his apron as he sat down next to his boyfriend caressing his thighs because he's giving Seokjin the talk again.
Since Taehyung came, Jimin didnt stop nagging at Seokjin and even Yoongi is getting tired of it. Well! He wants to actually slapped Seokjin with the harsh reality.
It's just that Seokjin's undying optimism and hope that Taehyung will come back to them is making Yoongi's stomach flipped.
Also, his fist is itching to land on Taehyung's face. Seokjin wouldnt act like this if he didnt gave him any false hope. Why did he even show up if he cant do his role as a father properly?
Yoongi is not talking. He's not meddling with how Seokjin is making decisions in his life but once their cute little girl got hurt, he swear that he will beat the hell out of Taehyung.
"Is Jungkook coming back?" Jimin asked.
Seokjin protruded his lips as he nods his head at his friend who has a big smile on his face.
It is really obvious how bias Jimin is towards Jungkook. He feels bad for Taehyung but he knows that he cant actually blame his friends.
Seokjin is not really fond of the idea of his daughter getting so attached to Jungkook, it's risky. What if his daughter will ask fo Jungkook anytime? That's not a problem now but soon- it will be. Jungkook will leave them and by then, he doesnt know what will he say to his daughter as to why someone left them once again.
"No? He said he'll pick up Sora," Seokjin shushed Yoongi before he could even react, "And yes dont worry, I told him that Sora will stay with you guys." he said.
Seokjin looks around to make sure that all the orders of the customers is served already. He's done working but Jimin treat him with some hot coffee that's why he stayed for awhile.
"Did Taehyung gave you his number already?" Jimin asked.
Seokjin took a sip of his coffee carefully crinkling his nose. He doesnt know if he should tell the truth because he's sure that Jimin will flipped out again.
"No, right? Those actions says that he doesnt want commitments," Jimin shrugs his shoulders, "But he's meeting your daughter so im not sure."
Seokjin's lips quivered. At that moment, he wished that Jimin is not that blunt. He wished that the younger sugarcoat those hurtful words because it took a toll on him.
He can feel it too. He knows that Taehyung is not up for making their complete family happen. They doesnt share the same opinion about it but it's fine.
Seokjin will take whatever Taehyung can give him. A little bit of his time will be enough, atleast for their daughter.
"Does Namjoon even knows about it?" Yoongi finally spoke up,
Just like them, Seokjin's older brother is not really fond of Taehyung presence. He remember one time Seokjin brought Taehyung in their house and Namjoon keeps on cursing under his breathe as he saw how Taehyung's hands is roaming around his younger brother's body.
Since then, he labaled Taehyung as disrespectful.
Seokjin shook his head, "Please! Just dont tell him." He plead.
He knows that Namjoon will give him a scolding once he find out that he has a connection with Taehyung again.
Seokjin can already picture his older brother giving him a half an hour of lecture as to why Kim Taehyung is not good for him especiallyfor their daughter.
Well! Seokjin thinks otherwise, he believes that Taehyung will be a good father for their daughter.
"Is he even supporting Sora financially now?" Yoongi asked raising his brows.
"We doesnt need his money..."
Yoongi raised his brows even more poking his tongue in the insides of his cheeks grinning like a cat.
"You doesnt need his money but your daughter does." Yoongi said.
"Yeah, right. Dont feel bad about it, hyung. It's his responsibility to support her financially. He's the father and im sure that money is not the problem," Jimin crossed his arms, "He owns a company for Pete's sake!"
Seokjin wont deny the fact that he's having a hard time supporting his daughter financially but he doesnt even know how to bring that topic up with Taehyung.
He doesnt want Taehyung to think that he's a gold digger or anything like that.
Actually, there's a lot of things Seokjin wants to clarify with the younger. It's just that fear always eats him up causing him to back out even before he open his mouth.
They never talked about how will they raise Sora. Also, they never talk if Taehyung wants a share custody. Well! That's in Jin's favor since he knows that he wont get a good night sleep if Sora is not with him.
Maybe the next time Taehyung will visit, he'll finally ask him about the things that is constantly bugging him.
Seokjin went out of the cafe after another hour of talking to the couple.
He will let them pick up Sora from school and stay with them until eight in the evening, the couple promised they'll bring home Sora before eight though.
He's ready to cross the streets when a familiar looking car stopped infront of him making him raised his brows.
The window rolled down and crouched down a bit to see Jungkook smiling at him.
"Please! Come in." Jungkook said.
Seokjin looks around and when there's no sign of a cab coming, he went inside the car without a word.
"Seems like you're not that busy for a CEO." Seokjin mockingly said.
He looks at Jungkook's direction and regretted what he said immediately as he realized the dark circles under his eyes ad how exhausted he looks right now.
Wow, so insentive, Seokjin. Way to go.
"I can do it tomorrow." Jungkook said clearing his throat.
Jungkook is continuously glancing at Seokjin's direction. He's surprised that they didnt bumped into someone's car or else he will probably get a scolding from the older for not driving carefully.
"Seokjin..."
He bit the insides of his cheeks as he felt his face burning up with nervousness and embarassment.
"Can.. can I take you out on a date?" He nervously asked.
He tapped his fingers nervously at the steering wheel as he waits for the older's answer.
Seokjin frozed in his seat. He's waiting for Jungkook to take it back or atleast laugh to indicate that what he said is just a joke but minutes came and Jungkook remained quiet.
"Kookie," he bit his lower lip, "I dont think that a date is appropriate." Seokjin shyly said.
"Ow," Jungkook looks down biting his lower lip as the feeling of dissapointment starts to build up in him, "It's fine but why though?"
"I have a daught-"
Jungkook immediately cuts him off,
"Jin, your daughter is adorably amazing. I have no problem with her."
Seokjin stared at Jungkook with his mouth agaped. He's overwhelmed. He's feeling giddy by the way Jungkook looks very sincere about his feelings for him.
Seokjin looked down, he has to say it now. He doesnt want Jungkook to get hurt because of him and if his feelings were genuine, Seokjin thought that he might as well move on now.
"Im trying to get back to Taehyung, to start a family." Seokjin said in almost a whisper.
Jungkook tried to smile but it seems like even his muscles are so damn dissapointed to the point that he cant even get a glimpse of Seokjin's face.
