Golden goal

Daniel sit patiently beside his mom bed in a hospital where his mom is admitted , Daniel is an eighteen years old boy, known as gentle and kind boy , he loves listening to music and also loves playing football. he is tall and was always refer to as a Goliath because of his nice shape, he lives with his mom who is a trader and was also addicted to gambling which lead her to be in many debts , she got depressed and started taking hard drugs , which result to her brain damage and she was diagnosed with a brain tumor , she was admitted to the hospital one day when she suddenly fell down in a shopping mall , the people around her quickly rush her to a hospital and look for someone to locate any of her family. after three hours of looking for someone that is related to her ,they actually find out that she has a son and contact him immediately. Daniel was on the field playing football when he got the news that his mom has collapse ,he quickly rush to the hospital and ask around about her from the nurses before he got to know the ward his mom is admitted to. Daniel meet up with the doctor and ask him about his mom condition, the doctor told him that before he came around he has run series of test on her to know what's the reason behind her collapse. Daniel got curious and ask the doctor to tell him the result of the test he run on her. the doctor show him the test result and told him his mom is diagnosed with brain tumor and she also have a hole in her brain. Daniel got weak the moment he heard what the doctor told him , he quickly ask the doctor about the solution to his mum sickness and how are they going to go about it . the doctor told Daniel that they are going to perform a surgery on her that he should make a deposit of One million dollars. immediately Daniel heard this from the doctor he quickly get down on his kneels started pleading the doctor to help him out, that he got no money with him and said his mom is being pursue by many loan sharks , that they are in serious debt and there will be no way he can pay off the debt because they have no money .after explaining to the doctor , the doctor look at him and tell him he should go and work , that there is many work he can do to make enough money to pay for his mom surgery. Daniel still pleaded with him and let him know that he his still young that he cant do anything apart from playing football. the doctor look at him with a funny look on his face, he move closer to Daniel and ask him that his he sure that he knows how to play football, Daniel answered him by nodding his head two times. the doctor then tell him that he his going to save his mom and promise he is going to treat her but there is only one way to that, that there is football tournament among the amateurs thats the tournament will soon begin , He further explain to him that the winners of the tournament will be paid a sum of one million dollars .upon hearing this Daniel started wondering about the tournament , he thought to himself that what kind game can yield so much money, Daniel quickly ask the doctor to tell him more about the soccer game. the doctor further explain to him that it is just a soccer game in different way that if he his interested he should let him know so he can take him there tomorrow to join a team and compete other teams . Daniel agree to this and let the doctor know that he will get back to him tomorrow . after the discussion Daniel returns to the ward his mom is admitted , after staying there with his mom all night he return home in the morning , after he got home he quickly pays his friend a visit to seek for his opinion about what the doctor discussion with him . Daniel friend is name Abu , he is in the same age with Daniel , he is a bit tall but not up to Daniel , he also knows how to play football and he is talented more than Daniel in playing football, the two of them has been friend since there childhood days and they love each other so much ,Abu is living with his grandma because he lost both his parent in an accident when he is still a child, Abu is addicted to gamble and love playing many bet to gain money to take care of himself and his grandma , in fact he even use to borrow money from loan sharks and was in a huge debt that makes him to lose the only house that he and is grandma are staying . Daniel explain things to Abu about what the doctor told him ,Abu quickly tell Daniel that he should join the game ,that he also have been offered to be part the game . after there discussion Daniel went to see the doctor that he is ready to join the team in the soccer game ,the doctor look at him and tell him that he should give him few minutes to pack the things he needed and take him to where the game is taking place . After one hour of driving Daniel and the doctor got to the place where the game will be taking place , after getting there the doctor took Daniel and take him to see the organizers of the game, and introduce Daniel to them as a player ,Daniel was registered and was given a jersey which is yellow in color , after the registration the doctor left Daniel and told him this before he left "you must survive ,don't forget your mom life depend on you" ,after saying that he pat Daniel on his shoulder and wish him good luck and left. one of the organizer call out someone to take Daniel to join the rest of the competitors , the man that came to pick Daniel was dressed in complete black dress that look exactly like a military cloth , he covered his face with a mask and was holding a rifle in his hand , by the look of things Daniel has started getting scared and was feeling uneasy ,he was about to ask one of the organizer about was going on but was grabbed immediately by the man wearing black and was took away. after getting to where the soccer game want to take place the man in black let go of him and tell him there is no going back that if he is ready to go back he should participate and win the game if not he will be gun down by the people holding guns like him and dressed like him ,after saying that the man in black point and show him the rest of the people monitoring the pitch, the man in black voice did not sound like a normal human voice it was sounding like something in echo. Daniel look around and saw like almost twenty five people dressed in black and they all look exactly like man who took him in . The place Daniel was taking to was a field that is covered with clay soil and surrounded by big fence , cameras are installed around every angle to monitored everything that is going on the field that look like football pitch , Daniel was not the only person taking there , there are almost hundred people there with him wearing different colors of jersey , Daniel started feeling uneasy and feel like running way but was interrupted by a loud voice coming from speaker hang on a tall tree beside the fence of the field . The voice echo through the speaker and said " welcome to the reality game name the golden goal.
