VAMPIRE KINGDOM Kara was beginning to lose her patience now and Damien has kept her locked in this room for more than a week now. She could not remember the last time she was confined in one place for more than a week. Kara was sure that the Valkyrie Kingdom was turning various places up, side, down to find her and here she was, have accepted to marry the vampire King. Kara finally concluded that she was losing her mind as she continued to pace around the room. The door to her room opened revealing Damien, looking handsome just like every other time he visited her. ‘Damien, I’m beginning to think that I am a prisoner here.’ Kara said as she finally stopped pacing and looked at him still standing at the door. ‘I see you are starting to lose your patience.’ Damien stated as he walked into the room and shut the door behind him. ‘Don’t think I haven’t noticed how you had someone cast a spell around the room, I can’t use much of my magic.’ Kara said, feeling the anger grow within her. ‘It’s for your safety and others.’ Damien answered as he smirked at Kara, clearly enjoying her irritation. ‘Cut the bullshit Damien I won’t run away so let me out.’ Kara said trying to pull the last card she had called weakness. One she never uses but she knew that she needed to practice her magic, or she would explode with the overbearing flow of magic she was experiencing right now. ‘Okay Kara let us take a tour I want you to meet someone today as well.’ Damien said as he headed for the door. ‘The look on your face clearly indicates that it’s not your wife.’ ‘You are not wrong there I actually want you to meet my sister.’ Damien said looking at Kara as he waited for her response. Kara stared at him as if he had grown a second head. ‘After a week of neglect now you want me to meet your family.’ That is not what I wanted to hear. ‘So, you don’t want to meet my sister?’ Damien asked with a raised eyebrow. ‘That’s not the issue here but if it will allow me to leave the cage of a room then I am all for it.’ Kara said as she walked to the door ready to leave. ‘I will give you a warning Kara, no funny things or things will get messy.’ Damien said with seriousness in his tone. ‘Whatever you say King.’ Damien walks to where Kara is standing and he stands right behind her, making sure there is no distance between their bodies. Kara feels herself inhaling his scent and breathes heavily. Damien’s groin was places behind Kara’s ass and this position seemed very provocative for both. Kara musted up the courage and stepped forward, succeeding in finally clearing the air. Damien hides his pain through a cough and stretches his hand and unlocks the door. ‘After you.’ Damien said waiting for Kara to walk out. ‘Thank you.’ Kara stated and walked out of the door with her wings suddenly feeling free and lost in her own thoughts wondering if her uncle and cousin are doing all right. ‘Follow me.’ Damien said, snapping her out of her thoughts. Kara obediently walked behind Damien because she knew she was in an unfamiliar environment and she needed to study it, so today she was not going to mess anything up. ‘We are here.’ Damien said standing in front of a huge door. ‘Okay, since we are here is this the part you warn me about your sister’s character?’ Kara said letting out a little laugh. ‘Kara this isn’t a laughing matter and there is a warning.’ Damien answered, suddenly look less happy than he did a second ago. ‘What is it?’ Kara asked more seriously. ‘Akeldama is very touchy about the entire vampire thing.’ ‘I don’t understand, why would she be touchy about that when she’s a vampire?’ Kara asked confused a little. ‘She’s a half breed just like you.’ Damien finally said. ‘Didn’t see this coming.’ Kara sighed. ‘I just want her to see how perfectly normal it is to have more than one bloodline and she has never really embraced herself so….’ Damien speaks and trails off waiting for Kara to make a conclusion to what he is saying. ‘Don’t tell me you want me to play the sister role.’ Kara whined. ‘She is 80 years old but is actually just 19 years old, its hard to explain but it is what it is’. Damien half smiled at Kara and opened the large doors. ‘Well let us go heal a soul, wait do vampires have souls?’ Kara blurted out while laughing. Damien was lost in the sound of her laughter that he almost did not hear her question. He decided not to answer it and continued to walk deeper into the room with Kara still laughing at her inner joke. Damien finally stopped and so did Kara. ‘Akeldama.’ Damien called and the darkness of the room turned bright. ‘What the hell is all this drama for?’ Kara said under her breath. ‘Can you not? I thought you were serious and mysterious I am starting to think that those two things are not related to you.’ Kara rolled her eyes at him and spread her wings to their full length for the first time since she has been here. ‘What ae you?’ A voice from the dark part of the room asked. ‘I am a Valkyrie and a witch.’ Kara responded because she knew this was Damien’s sister. ‘That is beautiful, Damien what do you want here?’ Akeldama asked as she finally stepped out from the dark. Damien sighed as he approached his sister, ’Why are you messing around in the dark Akeldama?’ ‘I wanted to see if I am comfortable with it.’ Akeldama answered. ‘What are you?’ Kara asked the same question Akeldama had asked her. ‘I am a vampire and a fairy.’ Akeldama said. ‘Wow, that is one big combination you got there.’ Damien threw a death stare at Kara, but she purposefully avoided his eyes. ‘What about you are you not bothered by being a half breed?’ Akeldama inquired. ‘No, I am not, t have come to know that they dislike half breeds because we are stronger, so that’s why the try so hard to kill us off.’ Kara said as she looked at Damien for instructions and introductions. ‘Akeldama, Kara here is going to be my second wife the royal concubine.’ Damien said introduction Kara. ‘Is that the best you way you could have introduced me?’ Kara asked annoyed at Damien. ‘Have you told Drusilla?’ Akeldama asked ‘No, I have not.’ Damien answers casually. ‘Well, this entire thing is going to go up in flames.’ Akeldama said crossing her arms together. ‘Is this not nice? We keep expecting doom to come knock at our door.’ Kara said. ‘Help me train please.’ Akeldama said quickly changing the subject. ‘That was a quick change in topic love.’ Kara chuckles. ‘It has to be done.’ ‘Ignite!’ Kara said and a ring of fire circled Akeldama where she stood. ‘What the actual f**k!’ Akeldama exclaimed and Damien laughed by the sideline. ‘Now burn.’ Kara said as her eyes turned full black.
