Seven As they approached the house, Carl noticed a movement in the lace curtains hanging in the window of the front room. When they stepped onto the porch, the door was opened by a diminutive woman with a sun wrinkled face and silver hair pulled into a tight bun. ‘Mrs Cameron?’ said Carl. ‘Yes.’ ‘I’m Detective Inspector West and this is Senior Constable Head, who called you earlier this morning.
