Karen was sitting on the bed watching her husband. He just got out of the shower.
"I am glad that she is fine. He sounded better when I told him that."
Karen felt sorry for Luca but all of this was his fault. He needed to be honest with her from the beginning, otherwise nothing of this would happen.
"But please, don't bring him in front of her."
Rocco looked at his wife, offended by her words.
"Why would I do that?"
Karen sighed heavily and stood up, approaching him and wrapping her hands around his neck.
"Because I know he is like a brother to you."
Rocco wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her closer.
"That is true but I also love you and I respect Mila's wish to stay away from him. He just needed to know if she was fine."
Karen placed a soft kiss on his lips and smile
