Luca's words kept repeating in Mila's head. She couldn't believe she was staying all alone with him in this house. What was even worse, when he was at home, all the other employees stayed out of the house.
She sighed heavily while helping Maria to pack her stuff.
"Mila, is there something bothering you?"
She looked at the old lady while fastening the suitcase.
"You are leaving. I am going to miss you."
Even though she was telling the truth, she was also leaving out something more.
"Oh, don't worry. I will be back soon, I promise."
Mila accepted Maria's hug and smiled at her when she moved back a bit. The knock on the door interrupted them. It was Luca. He glanced at Mila before he spoke to Maria.
"Are you ready?"
Maria nodded and pointed at the suitcase next to Mila.
