5 Years Later

Five years later.....

Today is my baby Jayden's birthday and once again I can not do any thing for him and since it is his 4th birthday I was kinda hoping to do something special for him. Since I ran away from my father I've been living a very bad and hectic life.

A year ago I got a job as a stripper at a very booming club called THE DEVIL'S PALACE I thought I would live a soft life like every stripper does but in my situation its different, I have a baby to take care of, providing for me and him, baby necessities and myself of course so I am broke as always and to be honest I don't regret keeping Jayden, right now he is all I have and he is the only reason I want to keep on being alive on this very very cruel world

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you baby" all this time my very cute baby is giggling, he is the the male version of me very light skinned and has very deep dimples like I do. "Thanku momma"

After breakfast fast I bathe him and take him to one lady that takes care of the neighborhood kids

"You are very late with your payment Nadia I am not taking him unless you pay me my money" Gloria says. "I know, I'm late with my payment but can't you wait till I get payed", "No I've been waiting long enough take your child and get out of my property" she yells. So she hates the guts out of me because of that one lap dance I gave her husband who visited the club last year and he requested a lap dance from me. "Please take him I must go to work then when I come ro fetch him I will bring your money". If looks could kill I would be dead right now, she just grabs Jayden and make their way inside

Time:08:30 f**k I'm late. I catch a cab and the driver keeps looking at me weirdly through the mirror and a huge smile forms on his face "Ohh now I remember where I know you from" I dont reply but raise my eyebrows confused "You are Nana the very sexy slutty stripper" I release a shocked and very dry laugh daring him to repeat what he just said which he does not and he gets the hint to just shut up.

I arrive at the club and Beast my friend and the bouncer of the club does not look happy "Where the f**k have you been" he asks, no one knows that I have a baby so I can't tell him about the incident "I just got caught up" he looks at me like I'm crazy and says "I know you are lieing but you'll have to tell bossman the truth because he's looking for you" I turn my head to him in a very quick speed "WHAT!!" Okay now I have to tell him "okay so look I have a baby to take care of and today we had a little problem" He looks at me and bursts into a fit of laughter "You'll have to try another excuse girly" ugh why did I even have to try to tell him, I just walk away from him and into my unknown boss I have never seen him I only know his name Dimitri Ivanov

I knock on his office door and a very deep voice answer and I go inside to see a very gorgeous man everything about him screams danger yet I am very intrigued about him. Light skinned, blue eyes and very buff I can clearly see he goes to the gym a lot. "Sir I heard you were looking for me" first he doesn't say anything but looks at me for a few minutes.

"Sit" I try my best to avoid eye contact. "So why are you arriving late and I know it not the first time?" He has a very heavy Russian accent

"I'm sorry Mr Ivanov I get a little caught up" I reply

"With what?" This is so exhausting and all I can do right now is just tell the truth

"I had occured a problem with the lady who helps me look after my baby"

A huge smile is on his face and to say I am confused is an understatement.

"So you expect me to believe that such a young person like you has a baby, I don't know try another excuse"

I know I look like I'm younger than my age but people telling me I'm telling lies are starting to get on my nerves. I don't answer him but I keep on playing with my hands.

"Since it seems like you don't have anything to say, you can now say goodbye to your job I am running a club here and not a play ground" he says, I shoot my eyes wide open, I can't loose yet another job at least not today.

"Oh no please, I'll do better I promise"

"Get out, I'll send a check but for now goodbye Miss Smith"

I feel shuttered, once again I have failed Jayden. I stand up and start making my way to the door with tears in my eyes.

I leave his office without another word but I'm not going to give up, I don't have any qualifications and I certainly don't wont get a job without them.

A few hours later.....

I did get the check Mr Ivanov sent and I am dumbstruck it is a lot more money than the one that I expected, I went to the mall and bought all that we don't have at home plus my boys birthday cake and left some money for Gloria and it can pay off for 4 months.

Fetching Jayden from Gloria's house and giving Gloria her money was a drag because she always has something to say.

At home...

Times like these I feel all the pain from the past come back to bite me. I'm all alone and I feel like everyone can feel like I'm nothing but trouble because I've never had close friends it is only Beast and I feel like he does not really like me because long story short I'm the one who forced our frienship

"Momma" my baby's voice snaps me out of the world of troubles I'm in.

"Yes boy"

"I want Dada" I turn my head to him.

Ever since he started talking he has asked me about his father many times and I know he is still to young to know and understand anything.

"Dada is not here yet, he is at work baby" I honestly don't know what to say anymore. "Okay momma" and finally this time it seems like he believes me

After supper I bathe him and tuck him in and after that I am left alone with my thoughts of how I'm going to get my job back because I have to get it back.
