Dr. Chisholm looked into Carlton’s eyes as if he should have known better.

It was early November, the first time that anyone in the Hollingsworth Presidential Elections Campaign had seen Priscilla since the shooting incident at Columbia University. They saw her at the campaign headquarters at the First National Bank in Birmingham. Earlier, they had communicated with her over the telephone while she recuperated at her Columbus home-office. So she was fairly well-apprised of the status of the campaign. But, for the time being, two major issues continued creating tension among the campaign team at their headquarters.
