Kai struck back.
The angel was sent flying.
It was a punch right into the abdomen.
Kai took a step forward. The water under the ice suddenly broke the thin layer that was found behind him. He was motivated this time.
Hunters get excited whenever there is valuable prey before them.
But he was getting excited now. Without the need of his music and his encouragement.
And the angel felt that the fight was going to change now.
Behind Kai, the water was rising in intense waves of chaos, flowing everywhere. It erupted and crashed with the ice that was containing it.
Almost as if it was showing the feelings its master was not displaying.
Kai, with his two arms, crossed never lost the intense look on his face.
The water moved fast, with no need for movement from its master.
Water erupted everywhere from the ice, heading towards the angel.
Too slow
But the angel regretted the words that came out of its mouth, as it looked down and saw a bolt that had pierced right where Kai had previously punched it.
But he had remained unmoving. Then, the angel saw beyond Kai. Water was in the shape of a crossbow and had shot a piercing round of water towards the angel.
Water, with enough pressure, can pierce through most materials.
The angel spit black blood from its mouth.
Bam.
A huge fist of water had struck it and made it crash against the ice.
But the surface against what it was going to crash changed, transforming into huge ice spikes.
And the angel was completely pierced into two, separating its upper body and its lower body.
Kai was saddened again. It seemed like his fistfight was not going to happen.
The angel’s upper body part got up and started floating again, dropping black blood everywhere.
And when it gained enough altitude, a tiger, a panda, a wolf, and a tiger’s head came out of its body.
Fifty tridents appeared around it.
In the distance, Kai saw a giant sword fall from the sky. He smiled at the sight of it. He would later steal that power.
He then created a small ice wall in front of him, and he quickly touched it and changed its properties.
The ice became glass.
The beams of light that actually managed to hit the small wall became distorted, as the glass was reflecting the beams, distorting its original trajectory.
The angel’s attack was, after all, light.
The light beam that was reflected towards the ice floor instantly melted it.
The angel now moved the tridents, so that they did not hit the glass that was blocking Kai. But Kai extended the glass barrier until it was a glass dome.
He couldn’t use this power much, and he needed chemical understanding to be able to do it, but he knew ice and glass.
Many of the tridents started to change position, trying to cover the entire dome. They kept shooting, until the dome was an island floating above water.
Kai finally knew what he had to do.
He had been calculating his moves.
Without even having to move a muscle, the ice below him melted, and he was absorbed into the water.
The tridents did not stop. They started to shoot at the water in his general direction.
But they kept missing, as water causes this distortion as well.
The angel decided to stop shooting, as it guessed that Kai would have to, at some point, come back.
Bolts from rampart style crossbows came from the sea, attacking the angel. Kai had made many more water crossbows in the sea and kept shooting at the angel.
The angel decided to use the tridents defensively, protecting itself from the barrage by spinning the tridents in a very rapid manner.
That was when the dark arrow suddenly appeared in the sky. The angel saw it, and at once knew that it had no chance of surviving such an attack.
Instead, it raised its lower body, using its reattachment healing procedure, and used its own body as a shield. Its lower body, that had been cut off.
The arrow hit, and the body was instantly evaporated.
It looked down and saw the sea completely parted, with Kai at the bottom. He kept his stare, a bow made of dark blood fluctuating at his left hand.
The angel instantly knew what he had done. He had made the bow of the blood of the angel.
Divinity can easily harm divinity.
