The Altar Boy is a story where we meet Chris who is your typical rebel, the one who barley attends class and the one who does not give a s**t about everything. In his twenty-four years of living, the atheist somehow managed to attend church for some unknown reasons but he was glad he did. He sees the cute altar boy named James Yang, and Chris made it his number one duty to bang James - ironically his last name is Bang.

James is not going to fall for that easily, so he will be keeping an eye on Chris Bang. Being the complete opposite of Chris he sees him as the devil and will try his best to avoid the sinner as much as possible, also James is too innocent to be dealing with this. Unfortunately for James, Chris won't simply back down so he will be willing to do whatever he can to get the outcome he wants.

The Altar Boy is a love at first sight with an enemies to lovers trope. Will the two of them be able to handle the situation? Do you think it will be a happy ending for both of them? Read further to see how it unfolds.

The First Meeting
C H R I S "I always get whatever I want and whoever I want" Chris hates going to church, and he has never gone to church. For some reason that Sunday morning was quite different than any other Sundays for Chris. As if Fate had a plan for Chris, we could even call it 'God's Plan.' Ironic, cause he's atheist. "Chris! Wake the f**k up!" Chris' Mom yelled while trying to shake him to wake. "What the hell, mom? Why you waking me up?" Chris said voice sounding groggy but somewhat sounding mad due to his mother interrupting his slumber. "Get up! We are going to Sunday Church!" His mom said in her annoyed voice. Out of all the days, why would his mother, ask her atheist son to go to church? This could seems so foreshadowing. "What the f**k would I go to Sunday church? Since when did I go? You know I am an atheist!" Chris said yelling back at her while trying to get from bed. "There is some important people that I need to meet, you being there will make me look good" His mom said while rummaging around his closet, likely picking the best clothes for Chris to wear. "As usual my mother using me for the family's personal gain" Chris said rolling his eyes before getting up and getting ready. It somehow kind of sad, that in order for a family to gain recognition they need to do things that are for their personal gain. But Chris doesn't really give a f**k because he cares about his own business and he gets to do whatever the hells he wants. Because his family is f*****g rich. Time passes by and Chris got ready, he showered and made himself look the part. Chris is wearing a semi-formal suit mixed in with a little bit of casual style to make himself look believable but not trying too look so try hard. I mean its just church, not a business meeting. Chris also fixed his dirty blonde to match the aesthetic of the outfit. He even took a selfie to mark how he looks good right now. With that he headed out with his family. Chris did not even bother on how he should act while his journey through church. He knows that, all he has to do is introduce himself, give a few smiles and then he gets to do whatever he wants. Chris will also will not be present mentally during the mass, thanks to his trusty, hidden, noise cancelling Air Pods. "Oi guys! We're here!" Chris' Dad said as he parked the car. This lead to Chris snapping out of his inner thoughts and went out of the car without taking off his Air Pods but putting on a low volume, allowing him to still be able to hear his surroundings.  As Chris look around his surrounding trying to familiarize himself with the surroundings, because he is not aware of what a church looks like general. There was something or maybe even someone that somehow garnered his attention. There was a young man who looks like a boy with an innocent look and persona from afar. The young man was wearing casual clothes that a teenager would wear with a sweater along with denim overalls and a beanie. He was carrying a transparent suit bag that seem took be carrying some robe. 'Could he be an altar boy?' Chris thought to himself. As for Chris, the young and innocent looking ones are the one that he liked. Because they are the 'special' ones. He usually doesn't go for them but that young man is a something different. Looks like Chris may be able to go to church every Sunday morning from now on. Adding that to his schedule, which he honestly never had. Who knew the atheist would have a 'change of heart.' Chris stared at the desert fox looking boy for quite a while. It didn't occur to the boy that Chris was looking at him up  and down, up until he looked at back at him. Realizing they were now looking at each other, both of them couldn't look away and they don't know why. As if there is some force, that is unable to prevent them to do so. Chris just gave a small smirk that would be impossible to recognize within the distance but for some reason he saw a reaction from the boy by the slight pink tint starting to appear on his cheeks. Chris noticed it from the far distance and was satisfied with himself. He still got it. Their moment was interrupted their each parents called them. Chris gestured them to go on ahead inside (in a rude way of course) the Church considering the mass was about to start within a few minutes. Chris just stood there near the family car still keeping an eye on the boy and with someone who assumed to be his mother. He even took of his Air Pods out so that he would be able to listen in, the distance was not that from where Chris was standing from. For a person listens to a lot of loud music, he somehow has good hearing. "James?" The lady asked, and the boy looked back at her in a bit of a surprise. James might have been focused on Chan a bit too hard that he forgot his own surroundings. "Y-yes, Mom?" James stuttered asking, trying to place him back together. "Are you alright? You seemed to be spaced out or distracted." James' mother words faded out as she looked at the direction his son was looking, and she was surprised because it seems like she recognized who Chan is. "Mom, do you know who that is?" James asked his tone sounding a bit confused and in awe, especially for that small moment that was shared between the two strangers. Remember they were just strangers. But for Chris and James looks like Fate is doing it's work. We don't know why but it is working. "Oh! That is Chris Bang, I was going to meet with his parents after Church to do work on a business collaboration." James was at a disbelief. 'Him? Out of all people? He screams "The Devil" to me. From his looks and demeanor, but I don't why, him staring at me gave a certain type of reaction. Come on, James you are smarter than this.' James thought, arguing with his inner mind. Chris meanwhile was trying his best not act like he can hear everything they are saying and just acted cool while leaning back on his Dad's car, but you could tell Chan is celebrating on the inside. He never could have been more lucky in his entire life. It is weird that his lucky moment happened in church. "Come, James. We should go introduce ourselves to him." James' mom said in anticipation before grabbing James' hand crossing the parking lot road. They also need to hurry considering the mass is about to start. "Excuse me, are you Chris?" James' mom asked politely. James on the hand was clinging to his mother's arm while trying to ignore eye contact with Chan. 'How old is he?' Chris thought to himself. Chris looked back at both of them. Giving a warm smile before replying. "Yes I am. Chris Bang, nice to meet you!" He politely greeted before he shook her hand "My name is Yang Eunjin, but you can just call me Eunjin. I don't like formalities, so don't worry about that." Both of them laughed and then she continued "Oh this is my son James. Say Hi, James." She said looking at the boy and moving arm to encourage James but he didn't and he just replied with a small "Hi." "Aww, he is so cute." Chris said while looking at the boy. Chris didn't see it but, James was turning a bit red than he was before. He was saved by his mom. "Thanks! He is usually shy but he is nice. Anyway, I am actually planning to work on a project with your parents on some business collaboration. We will discuss those after Church, probably at the mall." She said saying her words with confidence. "That's great! Good luck with that." Chris said smiling and trying his best to sound interested. "Thanks! Anyway, we have to go, mass is about to start soon, so will see you inside. Come on, James." She waved goodbye while holding James' hand and he finally was able to stop hiding from his Mom's grasp and they walked inside the church. But James' gave one last look too Chris. Chris saw the red tints that were visibly appearing on James' cheeks because of Chris calling him 'cute' earlier. Chris gave another smirk back at James, a more confident one. This one scared the boy and he turned back to the other direction. 'Ignore him James, he is the devil. I don't know why you are having these feelings. These are bad feelings, which need to be cleansed through prayer and doing the rosary, once we get home.' James said to himself in his thoughts, arguing with himself once again. He tried to forget about Chris and got ready for the Sunday mass.
