Prologue: Present Day

The moonlight throws a shadowy silhouette on the night. Glimmers of slivery light play peek a boo with the warm, breezy night. She calls. I stand there listening. Listening in the stillness of the night. The bayou beckons me, urging me forward under the starry moonlight. I hear.....I hear her calling my name. l want to be out there dancing amongst the the many faceless faces of the bayou. I feel the whispering,feathery kisses of the light breeze against my skin. They dance a playful jig on my skin igniting a fire as old as time. Hot and searing they leave a trail that scorches my soul, awakening something deep within. There's a stirring within me. It's strange and yet it's familiar. I sway motionlessly with the breeze,dancing to her tunes, hypnotized. Through parched lips I let out a gasp, reaching a hand out trying to grab a fistful of the night only to come up empty. She calls out to me.... beckoning me with her seductive sway. I feel this want in me answering her. I feel the stirring within me. I can taste it's hot liquid warmness pooling at my feet on my lips. I lick my lips. Mhmm...
