8 Chapter Eight; Sit! Her hands were shaky, but she took a little second to meditate before encouraging herself to stay strong If he wanted her gone, he could go on with it, but she wouldn't accept him taunting her She knocked just once and she heard him instruct her to come in. She made her way into the room, he was sitting at the same chair she had earlier found him but this time, the chair was facing the entrance while he rolled it repeatedly to both sides. His gaze followed her to the other end of his room where he also had a little dinner. He watched her place the tray on the moderately high table that had two highly decorated vintage dining chairs facing each other. It was a set. It was quite unusual to have a dinner in a room, but there was nothing usual about the man who owned the mansion or the mansion itself. This exquisite mansion was designed by six different architects like the stories told. His room was large, it was like a full apartment in there. He had an office space by the corner, a mini dinner that was mostly for the fun of it because he barely used it. His king-sized bed in the middle of the huge room, decorated with a fancy Lacey canopy that didn't cover any reasonable part of the bed. The bed was layered with different coverings, rounded off with a light brown Gucci duvet. About 10 feet away from the other side of the bed was his closet which took the full length of the room. And just after the wide closet, was a little Walk way that led to the bathroom. The room was covered with light brown colors, decorated with darker brown wallpapers and marbles. The room lighting was not as bright as she had earlier met it, it was dim now complementing the room color. The floor of this exotic space was of pure marble, the finest she ever walked in. The room interior designer must have been going for a retro look when this room was decorated because it gave off retro in every aspect. Like it was a bedroom that belong to someone of royal background in the 80s. Now sit" she heard him say, but the truth was that she wasn't quite sure who he was speaking to. She had never sat in his room or asked to, matter of fact, she had never sat anywhere around the premises where she was not supposed to seat. I don't particularly enjoy repeating myself; he said as she noticed a little change of tone in his voice. At this point, after not finding any other person who he was likely speaking to, she realized that she was the one he was referring to. She reached the shiny highly decorated heavy chair as she tried raising it or dragging it back to create some space so she could seat. But she guessed that the prize of a quality highly decorated oak Oak chair was that you might need a towing van to move the chair to another position. It was too heavy, she couldn't lift or raise it off the ground. She noticed him move towards her, he stopped beside her, one of his hands passed behind her, reaching to the chair, and pulling it with just a try. Joleen wasn't quite sure how to feel about that, she dropped her gaze to the floor a little too awakened by his closeness. He stood beside her, his hands still behind her on the chair. She felt the weight of his gaze on her but she made sure to not stare at him. "NoW Sit She sat as soon as he commanded because she need a little space from his closeness. She noticed him moving away from her, as he walked just opposite her to the other side of the table. Pulled his chair, and took his seat. His gaze was on her the whole time, only taking it off to reach for the dish. He opened the tray, the oysters were served differently with chicken, waffles, and Cobb salad also served differently too but on the same tray. He disheda fair amount of the dish, moving it to her before instructing her to eat. This was getting weird, if not out of hand; she thought. Why was he doing this? Why was he taunting her? she swallowed before finding herself able to speak. "Tm not hungry" She said with a soft but clear tone. "It wasn't a request," he said as his gaze unpleasantly narrowed at her and for a second, little wave of fear went through her body. "And what if I don't?" She fought through her fears managing to ask that question.
