Chapter One... A Confession Prayer
"I love you..." the boy states batley, looking at the girl's frozen eyes. He mumbles a wish within his mind, hoping for a good outcome.
"...But Noah I... I thought we were just f- friends...?" the girl stutters in confusion, tilting her head. It's not as if she's never considered him attractive, but the way thing have been, she feel more like His younger sister.
"It's not the kinda love that you might think-" The boy sighs, getting cut off by natural human nature. 'Why?' Thinks the boy. If only he could explain. When he talks, it's as if others are unwilling to listen He sighs. 'If only she'd hear my side of the story, too...' He thinks.
"Then what other type of love is out there? Nothing you try to say even makes sense anymore..." the girl asks, anxious and doubtful. Doubtful indeed. Her entire life, she has been taught that love is what you feel towards a person you are willing to marry. That's why her father never said 'I love you.' to her. Because what type of father wants to marry his own daughter...
"Paige! If you would only listen for a sec-" The boy frowns, raising his voice. This always happens... The wish that he made earlier has backfired.
"Noah why don't you just give up.... I don't love you, let's be just friends..." the girl cuts off. What she wanted wasn't the little sister act that Noah gave her... She Wanted a love beyond words and thoughts. She wanted the love parents give their children and expect nothing in return. She wants the love she never received...
"Nevermind, this is pointless." the boy looks at her, hope vanished from his eyes, given up. 'Maybe next time...'. That's what he said for years up until now. 'Maybe it wasn't a good day? ' Is what he thinks now, time being an unforgiven creature that will never look back.
"... Noah!" the girl, shocked from his eyes, chokes in a worried voice. 'Maybe one day, maybe I'll feel what love he was talking about, or maybe I'll die before then."
"You should really hear both sides of the story before making a decision. Well... you'll regret this later anyways." the boy mumbles, knowing she will. Something about the atmosphere... It just feels... Thrilling...
