The Silence Inside Rathore Manshion
The silence inside Rathore Mansion was not ordinary.
It was the kind of silence that carried fear in the air—the kind that appeared before a deadly storm destroyed everything in its path.
From the outside, Rathore Mansion looked like a royal palace carved from white marble and gold. Giant crystal chandeliers glittered through the tall glass windows, fountains danced under golden lights, and luxury cars lined the enormous driveway.
Everything about the mansion screamed power.
But behind those magnificent walls lived a man everyone feared.
Vikram Rathore.
The king of the business world.
A man whose single decision could destroy companies, ruin lives, and make powerful people kneel before him.
And tonight, that dangerous man was furious.
The servants downstairs stood frozen in silence as loud voices echoed from the grand master suite upstairs. Nobody dared to move. Nobody dared to interfere.
Because everyone knew what happened when Vikram Rathore lost control.
Things shattered.
People trembled.
And sometimes even walls witnessed terrifying things.
Inside the massive master suite, tension filled the air like poison.
Vikram Rathore stood near the marble table, his fists clenched tightly. The top buttons of his black shirt were open, revealing the veins visible along his neck as anger burned through his body.
A crystal vase rested dangerously in his hand.
One wrong word, and it would shatter.
Standing fearlessly in front of him was his fifteen-year-old son—
Aditya Rathore.
The resemblance between father and son was terrifying.
Same sharp jawline.
Same intense dark eyes.
Same dominant aura.
But unlike everyone else in the mansion, Aditya never lowered his eyes before Vikram.
“You are not always right, Dad,” Aditya said calmly.
The room fell silent.
Vikram’s eyes darkened instantly.
“How dare you speak to me like that?” he growled.
But Aditya didn’t move.
Didn’t flinch.
Someone else would have broken under Vikram Rathore’s anger.
Aditya simply stared back at him.
“Someone has to stop you when you’re wrong.”
The crystal vase cracked slightly under Vikram’s grip.
The air inside the room suddenly felt heavier.
“You think you’re old enough to challenge me now?” Vikram asked coldly.
Aditya crossed his arms calmly.
“I’m old enough to understand that fear is not respect.”
That sentence snapped the last thread of Vikram’s patience.
In one second, Vikram raised the crystal vase furiously—
“Vikram!”
A frightened voice interrupted him.
The bedroom doors opened suddenly, and Ira walked inside.
The moment Aditya saw her, his expression softened slightly.
Ira Rathore looked breathtakingly beautiful in a white and blue chiffon saree, her long dark hair falling gracefully over one shoulder. But tonight, fear had completely replaced the softness in her eyes.
The moment she noticed the vase in Vikram’s hand, panic crossed her face.
She quickly walked toward him and gently grabbed his wrist.
“Please calm down,” she whispered softly.
Vikram’s breathing was uneven with rage.
He looked at Ira for a moment before turning his dangerous gaze toward Aditya again.
“Look at your son,” he snapped angrily. “Standing in front of me like I’m some stranger he can challenge whenever he wants.”
Ira looked helplessly between the two men.
Both were stubborn.
Both carried fire inside them.
And neither of them knew how to step back.
“Please,” Ira said softly, trying to calm the situation. “He’s just upset.”
But Aditya immediately spoke again.
“Mom, move away.”
His voice was calm but firm.
Then he looked directly into Vikram’s eyes.
“And don’t raise your voice at her because of me.”
Silence.
A dangerous silence.
Vikram stared at his son for several seconds before suddenly laughing softly.
But there was no humor in that laugh.
Only anger.
Only madness.
Without warning, Vikram grabbed Ira by her waist and pulled her against his chest possessively.
Ira gasped softly in surprise.
Vikram’s grip tightened around her as he stared directly at Aditya.
“She is my wife,” he said in a low dangerous voice. “Whether I love her or shout at her is my choice. You have no right to interfere between us.”
Ira immediately lowered her eyes nervously.
Even after all these years, Vikram’s possessiveness still affected her deeply.
But Aditya remained completely fearless.
He looked at his father calmly.
“That’s not love,” he said quietly.
Vikram’s jaw tightened dangerously.
For one moment, it genuinely looked like the situation would explode into something much worse.
But before another word could be spoken—
“Daddyyyy!”
A tiny cheerful voice suddenly echoed through the room.
All three turned toward the door instantly.
Little Advika came running inside with a Barbie doll in her tiny arms.
The moment Vikram saw her, something unbelievable happened.
The anger in his eyes disappeared instantly.
His entire face softened within seconds.
Without hesitation, he released Ira and bent down to lift his daughter into his arms.
Advika giggled happily as she wrapped her tiny arms around his neck.
“Daddy,” she asked innocently while touching his cheek, “were you scolding brother?”
Vikram glanced toward Aditya briefly before looking back at his daughter.
Then he smiled softly.
A smile that existed only for her.
“No, princess,” he said gently. “Daddy would never scold your brother. We were only talking.”
Advika smiled happily, completely unaware of the tension still filling the room.
Meanwhile, Aditya looked away and laughed quietly under his breath.
Vikram noticed immediately.
Aditya then looked toward Ira with amusement visible in his eyes.
“Mom,” he said innocently, “if someone wants to lie, they should at least make it believable.”
Then his gaze shifted toward Vikram again.
“Right, Dad?”
Vikram’s jaw clenched tightly.
He knew exactly what Aditya was doing.
Mocking him.
Provoking him.
Challenging him.
But with Advika in his arms, he forced himself to remain silent.
Ira quietly released the breath she had been holding for so long.
She knew the argument had not ended.
It had only paused.
Because the relationship between Vikram and Aditya was far too complicated to ever become normal.
They were too similar.
Too proud.
Too dominant.
Both carried storms inside themselves.
Advika rested her tiny head against Vikram’s shoulder while playing with the collar of his shirt innocently. Vikram kissed her forehead softly, his entire personality changing around her.
Watching him, Ira’s eyes softened for a brief second.
No matter how terrifying Vikram became, Advika always brought out the gentlest side of him.
She was his weakness.
The only weakness Vikram Rathore had.
Suddenly, Vikram looked toward Aditya again.
“Leave the room,” he ordered coldly.
Aditya stared at him silently for a few seconds before finally turning toward the door.
But just before leaving, he stopped.
Without looking back, he spoke calmly.
“One day, your anger will destroy this family.”
Then he walked away.
The sound of the closing door echoed heavily inside the room.
Silence returned once again to Rathore Mansion.
But this time, the silence felt darker.
More dangerous.
Because somewhere deep inside those luxurious walls, a war had already begun between father and son.
And sooner or later—
That war was going to destroy all of them.
