    "Honey?... Allison?..." "Yeah? What do you need mom?"  "Could you please hurry up? We really need to go now so you won't be late for school." I just sighed. It's my first day so it wouldn't be that big of a deal anyway.  "Two more minutes, mom..." I said grabbing my shoes and bag.  When I got into the car my mom was already in the driver's seat waiting for me. She smiled my way and started the car. It was a quiet ride. I was looking out the window most of the way to the school until mom started talking to me. "Honey, I know how you must feel. Leaving everything and everyone you knew behind just because of my new job. I know it's hard but you'll find a lot of new friends here." I could tell she's just as sad as me so I don't want to make it any harder for her. I smiled at her the best I could right now. "I know mom. It's going to be fine. I just need time-WE just need time.". After hearing this you could se the relief in her face. Her smile was brighter and her eyes were sparkling. We arrived at my school so I hopped out of the car. "I love you honey. Good luck on your first day!" she said as I was closing the door. I waited until she drove away before I went to look for the student office. I walked by a few groups of other students. I couldn't help but it was somewhat uncomfortable because of the looks they were giving me. It shouldn't be that surprising to see a new student but in this case it was because it was already the end of may.  I continued with my journey to the office without success. It was almost time for the first period so I gathered all of my courage and asked the first peron I saw in the hall. It was a girl with black curly hair, jean jacket and leather shoes. She looked really cute so I wasn't as nervous anymore.  "um... Hi, can you show  me where is the student office, please?... I'm Allison btw..." she stopped, looked at me and smiled.  "Sure thing, Alli. This way." I was surprised by the way she called me but it made me happy. Maybe she'll be my new friend here. We took off to the office. "I'm Jasmine and I have one question for you." that made me nervous again.  "Sure... What do you want to know?".  "How come you transferred only month before graduation?" here comes the question I feared most...  "After my father died my Mom got a new job here in town." I tried to sound like it's okay and I guess it worked because Jasmine didn't ask any more questions about it. She just said she is sorry for my loss and continued to lead the way.  When we finally arrived to the office Jasmine had to go to her class. After I've got everything I needed I had to find my way to the my first period.  I studied the plan of the school for a while and than made my way to math class. I nervously opened the door and entered. The whole class was staring at me the whole time until I took a seat. I sat next to a guy. He was pretty handsome with his muscles and dark brown hair. I was eyeing him for a while not noticing he was looking me right in the eyes. His chocolate brown eyes looked into my green and than he smiled. His smile was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Before I realized I was returning the smile back to him. We spend the rest of math class just quietly eyeing each other from time to time. When the bell rang he took me by hand. I wasn't able to do anything after I felt his hand on mine. There were sparks where he touched me. I could only feel his touch and his presence. After few seconds he pulled away. It made want more of him so that I almost couldn't help myself and grab his hand back in mine. I'm glad I did't because, after he let my hand go, he spoke to me.  "Hi... um... I'm Kaden and I was wondering if you would like to have lunch with me and my friends in the cafeteria later?" his voice was husky. Before I could stop myself-not that I wanted to stop myself- I agreed. "Yes, I would like to."at that his smile grew even bigger than it already was. "That's great! Meet you than..." "Allison." "Meet you than, Allison.".
