I woke up the next morning feeling good about how we handled Elena’s text because the meeting had closed that old chapter cleanly and left more room for our future plans. Vivienne seemed quiet over breakfast and I noticed the way she stirred her coffee longer than usual so I reached across the table and said “Vivienne you have been thinking hard since we met with Elena yesterday. Tell me what is on your mind because I want us to talk through everything just like we did during the long months of depositions and family revelations.”
