Operation Miyamoto

- * Shortly right after Hilde left the war room, she called the Advanced Division and requested five thousand warriors to be commanded by five gods from Olympus, along with a fleet stationed near the Taiyo region to immediately start the blockade. Using a jet airplane, with her escorts including Enzo, she arrived at the islands of Kalapa that's located roughly 400 km to the south of Taiyo in a matter of minutes. Then transferred to a helicopter to get to an aircraft carrier named "Helios." "When will we arrive at the carrier?" asked Hilde to the human pilot in a loud voice because of the noise of the propellers make. "Just ten more minutes, my lady!" he replied. "Can this human trinket go any faster?" she demanded. "This is our top speed, but as you wish, my lady!" The seas were calm as the air propelled by the helicopter disturbed the waters. The air is cold, and the waters reflected the sun. The horizon is all around them that almost looked as if this is just a world of nothing but ocean. A few minutes later, the fleet is in their sight. In the middle, there is the Helios aircraft carrier, escorted by five other warships. A cruiser leading the group, three destroyers, each located far at the port side, starboard side, and the other destroyer tails a tanker that tails the aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier is massive. It carried 156 fighters, 10 helicopters with four helipads located at each corner of the flight deck. The aircrafts were designed to take off by hovering, so a long runway is not needed, but specialized pads so the aircrafts can land safely. The island - a building on top of the carrier for mission controls, is in the middle of it all. There are also missile silos at the ends of the carrier as well as weapons mounted on the hull to protect itself from attacks. All of these, in one ship. "Welcome to the greatest aircraft carrier in the Realm," said the pilot as they start to approach the helipad. "Helios, a ship of a thousand firepower." "You humans have outdone yourselves, but for me, it looks just like a toy," said Hilda as she jumped off the helicopter before it landed. "Woah!" said the pilot as the helicopter swayed as she jumped off, but regained control. "Can't she wait?" he asked to his escorts in the helicopter, and they shook their heads. "We almost died there." "When it comes to war," said Enzo. "she's always like this." "Well, I am not surprised...," said the pilot as he succeeded in landing the helicopter safely. Hilde left damage on the deck after she landed. While the crew who came to see her arrival, bowed to her as she walked towards the island. Enzo caught up to her. "Hail Hilde, the Goddess of War!" they said and saluted. She saluted back and they went on their ways. Some engineers arrived in the vicinity to repair the damage. "Lady Hilde," said the demigod captain of the ship as he follows her pace. "I am Captain John, and welcome to Helios." She nodded and said, "Make this ship the command center for this campaign." "We've already set that up, my lady." "So then," she said as she entered the door of the island. "did you already set up the blockade?" "Yes, my lady. Taiyo has five ports, and we sent five destroyers from our fleet to blockade each of them." They entered an elevator. "Did you already briefed them about the situation?" "Yes, but I briefed them about how to initiate the blockade, but whatever the reason, no, my lady." "That's fine. I'll brief them about it." The doors of the elevator opened and someone said, "Goddess of War in Pri-fly! Attention!" The men stood up from their posts and stood straight. She nodded once, and they went back to their posts. "Prepare advanced communication to all of the ships of the fleet!" said John. "Aye aye, sir!" said someone touching a hologram screen full of numbers and buttons. There's a huge space in the middle of the pri-fly (the highest floor in the ship), and on the floor, there is a huge circle of black metal. She entered it as the area above it glowed blue. She said, "Attention to all captains of this fleet!" Then on the other ships that have the same technology, she appeared as a hologram, from head to toe. "You may be wondering about the reason for this hasty blockade, but I am here now to brief you about it." Back in the carrier, the other captains appeared as holograms around her as she continued to talk. "The Miyamoto clan that's been considered as the 'Olympus of the Far East,' has been wiped out." The captains were staggered about the news. They looked more serious than before. "The Great Goddess was considerably powerful, and so are the gods and demigods of that clan. For them to have been wiped out only means that the enemy is more powerful than the Miyamoto clan. The enemy has been named the 'Masked League.' They are still unknown to us as they have been discovered just recently, so information about them will automatically be deemed necessary in this operation. I will call this operation 'Operation Miyamoto' as an operation to destroy the Masked League on behalf of the Miyamoto clan's justice. This operation is to stop the enemy from escaping the island of the Taiyo region, wage war against them, and protecting the civilian population. We have yet to identify the location and numbers of the enemy, and locating them is our top priority to organize a large scale evacuation. We also don't know how the enemy will fight. We have the greatest might in military power, so they can't take us head-on. They might disguise themselves as civilians, and attack our forces when they have a chance. I already sent someone to identify the enemy, but we will wait while continuing the blockade until the group I sent catches something. That's when we make our move inland." I already sent five gods to each of the ports along with five thousand demigods to assist them. You make the best of your abilities as captains of your ships to prevent the enemy from escaping and let the gods from Olympus command you if ever they need your support. This fleet will be under my command and will be ready to make decisive maneuvers if I ever get to see a chance. Operation Miyamoto is commenced. I, as the Goddess of War will make sure that the Miyamoto clan will be avenged, and these terrorists will be wiped from the face of the Earth!" The sailors in every ship shouted their battle cries as the operation started. She got off the platform and the communication was terminated. "Captain," she said. "where should this carrier be placed in order to launch attacks anywhere around the Taiyo Region, but in a safe distance?" "In the middle of the West Sea of Taiyo, my lady." "Set this fleet into that course." "Right away, my lady," he bowed and commanded everyone on the fleet. Enzo was sitting on a stool in a corner, and looking at the window. He looks calm. "Enzo," said Hilde. "Do you have something in your mind?" "Not much, my lady, but I am wondering who could've defeated the Great Goddess of the Far East." "They might've used some dirty tricks to catch her powerless. She has two daughters after all, and she loves them very much." "I wonder about that," he said as he handed her an envelope. She opened it and saw pictures of the Miyamoto incident. She saw dead demigods without a cut, but bruises of some kind. Enzo talked. "These people weren't killed by some ordinary demigod or god. You can see the causes of deaths of these people are from a hand-to-hand combat blows. The bruises are all found in every people there, along with dislocated joints. It seems that one person raided it all alone." She saw the picture of Akio, the great goddess. She had bruises on her arms and her face was crushed that made her look like she's unrecognizable. Enzo continued: "You can see that Lady Akio had a battle with the guy, and those bruises on her arms are made as she blocked his attacks. There are also arrows of Lady Akio around the vicinity. We can then conclude that the enemy is strong, and didn't use any trickery to defeat Lady Akio, but in a fair fight." Hilde looked at him and said, "Who could do that?" "I don't know." "So we have to deal with him, or our forces will perish." She saw the Miyamoto castle completely destroyed. "Don't worry, my lady. I will deal with it. In the meantime, I will have to carefully investigate why the bodies are three weeks dead when they just saw the people alive and well yesterday." "Thank you, Enzo. You really are reliable." He just nodded and went to look through the window again. * -
