Declaration of War

It's high in the noon of winter, and my knuckles are swelling as I kept doing the same thing again and again for over two weeks now. And that's punching the same boulder while trying to use the Dimensional Touch. I did this for tens of thousands of times now, but I never succeeded. I can't wait to finally master it! Just a little bit more, and I will be able to. "Aargh!" I grunted in pain. My right knuckle is bleeding again. Time to use my left knuckle, because I think it's already healed up after three days of rest. I removed the bandage, and it's good as new! I changed my stance into a southpaw and started to do the Dimensional Touch. I kept doing it for hours, while Lord Enzo crossed into my mind. What's he doing? He hasn't been going out from his tent for a while now. Maybe I'll go check on him. I went to his tent and peeked through the windows. I saw a roasted pig on the long table along with other dishes that looked very delicious. I instantly drooled. I looked for Lord Enzo, but I can't seem to find him, along with the other fairies that served him. I see that the food is fresh as some of them steamed, and the cables are lit. What is happening? Who cares? I want food! To the entrance, I went while sneaking. I don't know where the fairies or Lord Enzo is, but I can't get careless. I even used the technique I learned just recently to sense any presence around me, but I sensed no one. They might be somewhere. I went prone on the ground and crawled my way inside. The long table already started at the entrance, and the white tablecloth was suspended all the way to the ground, so it provided me the best cover. I sensed the roasted pig above me, so I gently lifted up the cloth, and grabbed it by the ear. It was very brittle, yet juicy. My fingers already tasted its goodness just by touching it. I slowly pulled my hand inside and looked at the pig's ear. Damn... It looks beautiful. So this is the food of the gods... I expected it to crush loudly, so I just bit slowly to not make a sound. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! As soon as my tongue touched a bit of it, flavors began to take over my brain! I quickly munched all of it and grabbed another piece after another. - * "So, what do we got here?" asked Narada to a panting old official that stepped in the middle of the war room as another meeting of the goddesses and gods is hastily made. "I found an organized movement in the black market of my town!" said the old man. "You're the governor of the Taiyo region, are you not?" asked Danae. "I am, my lady." "Well, let us hear it." Danae, Enzo, and the Third Seats were the only ones who came to hear the urgent news because the rest of them are busy with their own jobs. The man spoke with such anxiousness that he trembled as he wiped his sweat from his face. "I sent one of my agents to check the movements in the black market, and we got an unusual discovery. All of the arms brokers had all of their supplies sold out in less than three days!" The Olympians looked curious about what he said, but Enzo remained unstirred. Narada looked excited. "Did you figure out who bought it all?" asked Hilde in a loud voice as she stood up. "They said that it was a man with the golden mask along with other masked men!" Narada laughed. "Noice!" he exclaimed. "A mysterious people!" The others looked serious about this. The man continued, "And what's strange is that we just discovered the entire Miyamoto clan have been secretly wiped out!" "What?" exclaimed Hilde. "The Miyamoto clan is a demigod clan. And there are few gods among them, they couldn't be wiped out like that!" "It's true, my lady, we had our men patrolling for three weeks. Their clan lived in the mountains so we only had the chance to check on them every noon. But the strange thing is, that the men I sent just saw the people alive and well when they went there just yesterday, but when they came back to me earlier I can't believe what they said so I went there myself. I witnessed what happened myself, AND THE BODIES WERE ALREADY THREE WEEKS DEAD!!!" Danae rose from her seat and gasped. "How could that happen?" "I don't know, my lady!" "Oooohhhhhh," said Narada in an excited tone. "Narada, be serious about this," said Hilde. "Oh, I am like this when I am serious," he laughed very hard. "This mystery is more interesting than I thought!" "What do you think, Lord Seok?" asked Danae. "I have yet to figure out," he said and looked at the official. "But are you sure that your men didn't betray you?" "They will never betray me, my lord!" "Then let me ask you, did you visit the Miyamoto clan once within those three weeks?" He shook his head. "Then the loyalty of your subordinates is questionable. You will have them investigated, for they may be connected to this organization, and have valuable intel. We are gonna call this organization, 'The Masked League.' And the immediate action is advised, Lady Danae." She nodded and said, "Do you have something more to say?" She referred to the official. "Yes, my lady," he said. "There's possibly one survivor of the Miyamoto clan. We haven't found the body of Miyamoto, Shizuku - the Goddess of Blades, and the firstborn daughter of the great Akio, the Goddess of Archery." "Anything else?" she asked. "That's all I've got, my lady." "Alright," she nodded. "You can return to your region now, and put on high alert. They may do something again. I'll send you a word about the rest." "Of course, my lady!" He bowed and went to the exit. "Lady Hilde," said Danae. "I put you in command to deal with the Masked League. Take Enzo and those you need from the Advanced Division. They wiped out an entire demigod clan and killed the great Goddess of the Far East, so we won't take any chances. Also, if you need anything, ask me or the King." "Actually, my lady," said Hilde. "I need the navy to set up naval blockades. They may slip through any merchant ships or through airplanes. We wouldn't want to chase them all throughout the globe." "But before that, Lady Hilde," said Seok. "Let me send with you an extra provision for the whole Taiyo Region. We don't know how long will it take to deal with them thoroughly, and we don't want the civilian population to perish." "I bet that this fighting will last for a year," said Narada with a chuckle, and looking at him. Seok felt suspicious of him, but he said, "So, we will need a year of provision for the region." "Arrange that with Elder Hugo," said Danae. "He's the one who's in charge of the livestock, and agriculture. Tell the God of Smithing to provide the needed arms for this operation." He nodded. "And for you, Lord Narada, you are in charge of tracking if there are other members of the Masked League around the globe. We need your odds in finding them in such a vast area." "Narada is excited!" said himself with such enthusiasm. "I will inform the King about this, but you may start in making your move." The three Third Seats stood up and bowed to her. Then they left the room. Enzo followed behind Hilde, but Danae said, "Enzo, be careful," in a worried face. He just nodded and went on his way. * - I am lying under the long table, with a big piece of meat on my stomach that I ate slowly. I am already full as a pig, but I can't get enough of the roasted pig. "This feels like heaven," I said with my mouth full. Then I sensed a whizzing in the air like it's getting nearer and nearer. Hell, it's Lord Enzo! I got out from the table, and to the exit. Then there was this blast in front of me as he landed. I threw away the meat I was carrying before the snow cloud cleared up. I stood up with my hands behind my back as to hide my stained hands. He looked at me for a few seconds and said, "Use a plate when eating." Damn, I'm busted. "Sorry," I said. "Did you already done it?" he asked. "Kind of," I said because I did it once while cutting up the roasted pig earlier. "Show me." I went to the boulder I was punching, for like a whole month, then took a stance. I concentrated, used my will to pull, and I see this another arm of mine already throwing a punch. It looked bluer than me. It disappeared as my real fist hit the stone, but with no damage dealt on the boulder (as usual). I looked at him and he nodded. "You finally pulled one. Well done." I feel proud of myself. "That's new for me to see that you pulled the future because as far as I know, the King and I can only pull the past." "Really? Then what does that mean?" "I will figure it out later, but you need to make your other self move at the same time as you, so that your punches will be combined, thus making twice as strong as your own power. You just need to pull a little harder and just enough. It will be hard, but can you do it?" "Of course, yes!" I said in confidence. Then he sighed faintly like he has something troubling him. "I won't be able to watch over you for a month. Can I count on you to work on your training by yourself?" "Definitely, my lord!" He nodded. "I'll tell the fairies to bring whatever you need." Ohoooo, godly service for me! "I'll see you in a month," he said and went to talk to a fairy about it while I thought about the things I will need for my training. This is gonna be a fun month! Hihihihihi...
