The Olympians

"Listen to me," said Lord Enzo while leaning against a boulder that's taller than him. "Yes, sir!" I said. "The purpose of your meditation is to improve your focus, and most importantly your foundation as a person living in the present. Pulling your other self from different space-time requires that. You don't want to lose the tug of war to your other-selves or you might as well disappear on the spot." "What?" I asked in confusion after what he said. I think it is dangerous. "You will be pulled by your other selves to a different time where you don't belong and the natural order of doesn't allow the original to travel like that, so instead, it will make you disappear. And the Universe will be like you never existed - that's the theory." This is dangerous indeed. I need to be careful. "In an average person, past, present, and future have the same weight. Now that you have strengthened your present self, your present now has the heaviest weight. Use that to pull your other selves." He held out his fist near the boulder, and said, "It goes like this: Stand your ground by living in the present, and then... use your Will to use the power of your consciousness of the present to pull, then-" The boulder crumbled by the slightest touch of his fist. "The time available for you to use their strength is less than a quarter of a second, going longer than that will be very tiresome." I nodded. "For the brain consumes a very high amount of energy more than your body. But right now, let's just focus on pulling your first." He nodded to another boulder behind me and said, "Do it." The boulder is smaller than he crumbled earlier, but it is of the same mineral so it will be just hard. I put my right fist against the surface of the boulder. I focused on my present, solidified my will.... and punched the boulder. "Ouch!!!" I said as my knuckle hit the hard boulder. It just left a slight abrasion. "Do it until you figure it out," he said as he went to his tent. "I will, sir," I said and redid the steps. "Ouch!!" I cried in pain as I failed again. I continued to yell in pain as I did it many times. - * Enzo entered his tent. He saw a ready-made coffee on the table. next to the window of the tent. The place was warm because of the deployable radiator, and the small fairies assisting him. Then a fairy in a black suit approached him as he sips his coffee. "Lord Enzo," said the fairy in a high pitched voice. "the Third Seats request your presence in the war room." He just looked at the fairy while putting a face of dissatisfaction, but stood up and left his unfinished coffee. He didn't bother to tell his pupil about it. Up in the palace of Olympus, where the war room is located, everything is prepared for the arrival of different high ranking officials of Earth, and the Olympians. A man discussing something to a lady in a red armor entered the room, along with others. Her hair is as red as fire, but have skin as fair as snow. She is in her mid 20's but gained the respect of every god following behind her. She didn't mind the talking man but walked straight at a fast pace with a frown on her face. "Please, my lady," pleaded the man. "Let me gain access to that volcano." "I've had enough of you!" she yelled, and everyone in the huge room was startled as she let out her anger and flames from her hair. "If you say another word, I will burn you into ashes!" "Now, now, Lady Selena," said a man on one of the three thrones at the right. "Please calm down. Mr. Keith, this is not where we discuss that, please leave the war room immediately," he said kindly with a smile. "Of course, my Lord," said the man while bowing, and left the room immediately. "Geez," said Selena. "I can't stand that guy bothering me all day!" She went to her seat that is below the three thrones. The huge war room has a very high ceiling with a chandelier floating like magic, and the light it emits came from the sparkly gems hanging from it. The ceiling is filled with moving paintings of clouds, and the floor is also painted but shines as if it was made out of glass. There is an enormous window as high and as wide as the room itself, so the room lit up naturally. Before the window, there is a pyramid-shaped teir with ascending numbers of thrones to the bottom. One at the top, two at the second, and so on, until to the fifth. Then there are grandstands to the sides, and a wide space with a fire to keep the room warm in the middle of it all. Selena sat at the right-most throne when facing to the center of the room. "Good morning, Lady Selena," said the god beside her. "Quit screwing with me, you dork!" she yelled. The man is about her age and has white hair with an icy armor. He had this frost on his cheeks, skin, eyebrows, eyelashes, and hair, but he has a warm smile as he watched her muttering. "I see," he said. "the fire of anger is still there. Okay, I'll leave you alone for now. For I don't want to be melted." "You better!" she yelled again. "And I hate this time of the year, it's so cold! I wish you never existed!" "That's harsh, my lady." At the huge doors, a lot of officials entered until the room was filled and the positions were filled, except the King's throne - which is the single highest seat among the pyramid, and one of the fourth is also empty. On the Fifth Thrones - which are gods and goddesses that have the most powerful support-type powers in the realm. Starting from the left, there is: Santos, the God of Healing. He wears a white robe with his long blonde hair that made him look like an elf. Cyrus, the God of Clairvoyance. He wore a yellow robe and closing his eyes while waiting for the meeting to start. Aiko, the Goddess of Teleportation. She kept this anxious smile as she is the youngest of all the Olympians. Her hair is black and curly with bangs. She wore a blue gown and holding a staff on her lap. Emma, the Goddess of Scent. Her eyelashes are long, and she has a flower hat on her head. She sits like royalty and smells very good, but the Olympians are annoyed by it. Lastly, Heron, the God of Art. He looked like an ordinary human but with paint all over his face and body as he looked at his paintings all over the room. He looks happy about it. The Fourth Thrones where Selena sits, are Olympians who are the most powerful fighters in the Realm: Starting with her as the Goddess of Fire, Ashe, the God of Winter, but Silva, the Goddess of Metal is absent, because of her mission on Mars, and Alina, the Goddess of Light. with her clothes glowing like the sun. The Third Thrones were the Generals of the whole forces who possess the greatest minds in the Realm: Hilde, the Goddess of War. She wore a red armor with a black cape, looks strong and her stature is definitely of a warrior. Narada, the God of Games. He has an exaggerated smile while looking at all the people in the room. He looks excited about the meeting. And Seok, the God of Wisdom who calmed down Selena. He is calm and patient while counting the people who entered the room. The Second Thrones who are handpicked by the King himself to take his place in case of his absence: Danae, the Goddess of the Sea, and one of his daughters; and Hugo, the God of Nature, who is his close personal friend. He looks very old and of retiring age, but his experience of being an Olympian for quite long has made the King choose him as one of his hands. "So, all have arrived?" asked Seok to the people inside. "Where's the King?" asked someone from among the officials. "I am here for his behalf!" said a girl and laughed very hard. "Aurelia!" yelled Danae as she turned around to see her sister standing on the back of the throne. "You're not allowed here! Come down here this instant!" "No, no, no...," she said while hugging the throne. "I'm the next to become the King of Olympus anyway..." "No," said Mila as she appeared behind it. "with that brain of yours? Not a chance." "Why you....," growled Aurelia. "You two, get out of here now!" yelled Danae. The old man Hugo, held her arm. She looked at him and he said, "It's okay, Lady Danae," in a frail voice, then everyone in the war room instantly shut their mouths as he spoke. "Let the young ladies accompany us for a while." "But, Elder Hugo..." "It's fine." He smiled. "they remind me of the youth I once had." "Okay," she said in a worried face. She turned towards the two of them. "You two better behave!" They both nodded. "So, anyone else?" asked Seok again. "Where is Enzo?" asked Danae. Then most of the officials muttered and the room was full of whispering noise. "That bastard?" "Who cares about him?" "He's just lucky that the King took him in." "Demigods don't belong here." "They should just start without him." "Silence!" shouted Danae, but they didn't listen. "And that Goddess of the Sea? She is just lucky to be his daughter." "Those two brats too, they have no respect." "Please!" yelled Danae once more. "SILENCE!" roared Hilde as she stomped the ground, and the whole palace shook. They instantly went silent as dead. She looked at Danae, and nodded in respect, as she too nodded back in gratitude. The other Olympians were ready to put an end to the noise too, but Hilde did it first. The throne of Selena almost caught on fire, Ashe's froze, Alina glowed faintly, and the other Olympians readied as they were disappointed by the officials' disrespectful chatter. "Oh!" said Aiko, the Goddess of Teleportation. "I forgot to send him here! I'm so sorry everyone!" Then there was a bright glow in the middle of the room. From it, came Enzo with his god's armor. "Sorry for being late, my ladies and lords," he pardoned. * -
