Rampage on the Field

1600 Words
"It's Tiny the Bull!" exclaimed Philip. Sander and I watched over the field from the hill and spotted Tiny. He took down the electric fence without effort and started to charge at the poor cows. They are smaller compared to him, and he lifted one cow with his horn and threw it three meters in the air. He snorted very loud that the whole field echoed with it. "This is bad," said Sander. "At this rate, he will harm every cow on this farm!" "Not to mention the two old people here that can't defend themselves," said Philip. "Okay, we gotta stop him." "You're serious?" asked Sander as I followed Philip climbing down the hill. "You saw what that bull is capable of! He threw a cow in the air! And you will be caught up in those stampeding cows!" "Just stay there if you don't want to help," I said when I turned around to talk to him. "This is a demigod's job." - * Sander watched the two of them running on the field towards the oncoming stampede. He had his foot forward, but the other wants to remain after what Leo said to him. "Leo!" yelled out Philip. "Jump over the cows! This time I cannot help you!" "I know that! Let's go!" Philip is at Leo's right and they jumped over the scared, panicking cows. Cow after cow, they jumped with fear of falling. Philip is doing just fine, but Leo is struggling a little. However, he has this face of courage that covers up his disadvantage. When they passed almost half of the herd, the dust filled the air. It made them struggle to see ahead and breathe air. The tension and struggle just became worse for both of them. "I see the bull!" said Philip. "He is near!" "Philip! Throw me to where he is!" "What?" "Just do it!" Philip nodded and Leo took a bend on the last cow and used all of his strength to jump the highest he can do. The recoil made the cow he stepped on fall down. Leo is in the air, flying towards Philip. He caught him, and almost slip on the cow's back. All that training served its purpose in a way that Philip lifts up Leo without effort with his two hands. Leo saw a cow being lifted up and fell down to the side. They can't see the bull, but they know that he is there. "Now!" shouted Leo. Philip jumped high and threw him to the bull. "Go!" he shouted. Leo is going to collide with Tiny's head, when he said, "Boom!" Then there was an explosion of repelling force from him using his power. The bull fell down on his weight, while Leo rolled to the side without a scratch. He crouched down as the dust cloud cleared up after that. The bull quickly stood up, but Philip kicked him down after he came down from the air. There were no more cows running around them right now, but the bull and the two boys. Philip stepped on the side of Tiny, while he's on the ground. Philip fleed towards Leo, as the bull stood on its own feet. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson saw what happened after they calmed the cows. At the distance, they watched how the two children handled the bull. "Children, don't-" called Mrs. Wilson, but she is stopped by someone. * - "Leo," said Philip. "I think we need to kill him if he doesn't flee." "No, we can't do that!" I said. "We don't have any authority here. We just have to find a way to disable him." "What a drag!" "I know, but we have no choice." Tiny grunted very loud that it pierced through my chest. He charged towards us with unstoppable speed. Philip dodged to the right, me to the left. Tiny stopped himself using his hooves as it pierced the ground like shovels. It just shows how powerful and heavy this bull is. I can't use the "Boom" anymore, because it drains too much of my stamina. I even feel my feet getting a little weaker. I will have to manage without using it. "What are we gonna do?" asked Philip from the distance. "I don't know!" I said. "Yikes!" he cried as Tiny turned towards him. He didn't run away but took a stance to prepare a blow. I know that he is not gonna be able to stop that huge bull, but he made himself a bait for me to make a move. I must break one of his legs. That's the only way to stop him. I saw a big branch on the ground. I grabbed it and sneaked behind Tiny's blind spot. I got near his left leg and prepared to swing. I used all I've got on that one swing, but it was the branch that snapped, while it did nothing to his leg. He turned towards me while I made a distance after that failed attempt. It looks like that I am the one he's gonna charge at. That's right, I will use my last ounce of strength for the last Boom. "You all look tired," said someone behind me. I turned around, and it is Sander with a red bullfighter's cape and a rope. "You guys charge without a plan, I guess I have to save you guys." "Don't give me that," I said. "We could've taken this-" "He's coming...," he said as he waved the cape like a bullfighter after he gave the rope. "It is up to you guys." "Mhmm!" agreed Philip from the distance. "No more running! We take him down!" The bull charged towards Sander, but he didn't budge, nor does he shows fear. I can see in his face that he trusts us. I can't let him down. - * The bull made contact with the cape instead of Sander, but he struggled to dodge, because of his size. Tiny used his hooves against the ground to brake again, but Philip kicked his legs, and Tiny fell down. "Tie him, Leo!" "Okay!" said Leo as he already prepared a knot, and is already near the bull. He approached the rear legs, but the bull kicked him away. "Leo!" cried Philip. "I'm okay!" said Leo as Philip retreated. Tiny stood up once again. He snarled very loud through his nostrils that steam went out of it. Sander hurled a rock as big as his head and hit Tiny at the horn. The stone was destroyed along with it. Tiny became angrier and charged at Sander. The children do not know that they are being watched by Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, because of their focus on their fight. It is necessary that they should concentrate, for their lives are at stake. After Tiny passed by Sander, the rampaging bull didn't see the kick from Philip again. It is more powerful than last time. The ground shook as Tiny was hit on the head and trampled down. He fell unconscious, but there is a risk that he could recover instantly. "Tie him again!" asserted Philip. Sander also helped in pinning down the bull. He braced the back legs, while Philip on the front legs. Leo quickly tied all of the legs before Tiny wakes up. At last, they were able to successfully immobilize him. He woke up and struggled to get the bind from his legs, but the knot Leo made is tight and secure. * - "Phew!" we all sighed in relief. I stepped back and lied down the ground, while both of them sat. I can only hear our panting now. "You almost died, Leo," said Sander. "Yeah," said Philip. "that kick was powerful. Are you okay?" I looked at my arm where the hoof happened to hit it. It has a bruise, but I can move it pretty well without much pain. Maybe it is because of the Recovery Medicine that improved the durability of my body, along with training. "I'm okay," I said. "That's good," said Sander. "I almost thought you're not gonna help us." "Well, I am a demigod, and it's my job. You're finally showing your skills in kicking, Philip." He looked at him. "Yeah," I said. "What kind of fighting style was that? Taekwondo?" "What's that?" "A human martial arts that focused on kicking techniques." "I think it's kinda like that." "Who taught you?" I asked. "My father." "So that's your family's fighting style. Your father must be very strong." "Yeah..." We sighed out of relief. Then we noticed Mr. and Mrs. Wilson coming towards us. "Children!" she called. "Are you okay?" She checked our arms and bodies if there are injuries. We just had scratches, but no injuries that are severe. Philip had bruises on his legs, because of his powerful kicks. Sander had grazes on his palms after he threw that big rock. Meanwhile, I have this bruised arms. We stood up and Mrs. and Mr. Wilson took us to their home. I walked behind them and looked at the struggling Tiny. I couldn't help, but feel pity for him. I went back without them noticing. I looked at him in his teary eye and said: "Mrs. Wilson said that you are just lonely because Dave left you. You don't have anyone to play with anymore, because they are scared of you. But I am not scared of you." I smiled. "I am strong, after all!" I untied his legs, and he quickly stood up with his horns pointed at me. I just looked at him in the eyes. "Leo!" screamed my friends.
