Mirror of the Soul

An evil enchantress named Emily La Rosa stood up from a chair and walked to the window and opened it. She put a spell on an invitation for her friend and then it flew away. She smiled as she noticed whose standing by the door. "Marina " she said and turned around to see her. "Mother." Marina said to Emily. "What are you doing here, my child?" Emily said. "What am I going to do now? I have finished the chores that you have told me to do, mother." Marina asked her and Emily nodded. "Is that so, Marina? Then why don't you prepare the table for tonight's event with the Moonstones?" Emily said. Marina walked out of the room and goes to her sisters, Louise and Elaine. "Mother wants us to start the preparation." She said. "Did you mean that our selfish and cunning mother wants us to do her dirty works like now?" Elaine asked her sister. "Yes, Elaine!" Marina answered her sister. "Well, if that's what she wanted us to do...then, we shall...right, Louise?" Elaine turned to Louise with a look on her face. "Yes, absolutely!" Louise said in agreement but she felt irritated with Elaine's expression. On the contrary, Emily went back to her room to check on her present for Adeline Moonstone and the she called one of the girls to come to her room. "LOUISE!" she said. "Yes, Lady Emily?" Louise asked. "Can you give this to the founder's wife when she's here?" Emily asked and Louise nodded. "Yes, Lady Emily!" Louise said and then they all heard the doorbell rang and Elaine went to the door to open the door for the guests. "Hello, Mr and Mrs Moonstone...please come in! Lady herself will be here in a minute..." Elaine said. Zachary looked at her and smiled but his smile disappeared when his son is acting strange lately. "Why are we here?" Damien said, being spoiled. "I have told you to behave yourself, Damien!" Zachary said. "Fine!" Damien said as he stomped his feet and his father sighed then they go inside the house of the enchantress, Emily.
