The graduation venue was already packed with people as Tasha drove in with Daniella and Aiden.
Happy parents were sitted with their kids in beautiful attires. The graduating pupils were looking so chick in their attires. They are all adorable.
She found a free space for them to sit on. Aiden was on a very high mood. He seems to be on cloud nine as he shared happiness with his mates..
The children did many exhibitions and Aiden performed in all activities. Tasha was happy to see her son lively and happy. She had always secretly wished the near-absence of a father figure in his life does not stigmatize him among other children.
His father never willingly saw him. He always make the excuse of work and his other commitments but Tasha knew he just doesn't want to see him.
Then it was time to play a game with the kids. Everyone with their children. The game is for all the graduating pupils.
Every child was given a needle and their parents thread. At the sound of a signal, the children will run to their parents to insert the thread inside the needle. Then they start running towards the judges. The first child to make it cross the finish line wins.
Aiden was so thrilled at the game and he was so eager to start.
They all lined up and Tasha stood at her line too waiting for her son.
The signal soon went off and the racing started. Aiden is so fast. He reached her place in no time and Tasha was fast in inserting the needle. She had mastered the needle and thread.She gave it to Aiden and he started running with it.
A girl was already running towards the judges and Tasha felt that Aiden would come second. Then suddenly the first girl fell down and Aiden ran past her towards the finish line. He got to the judges first.
Tasha was elated. She is elated that her son came first in the game. Aiden was placed on a high stool on the stage and his mother was demanded.
Tasha practically bounced to the stage. Aiden was presented with an award and a gift and they both snapped pictures together.
“Your boy is a champion” the MC said and Tasha could not agree more.
She went back to the audience after the high moment.
Daniella was ready to embrace Aiden with her warm embrace. Aiden just kept smiling.
That was when Daniella called her attention to the man she least expected at the event.
Declan McKenna was sitting at a side in the reception area smiling at the occurrence. Tasha batted her eyelashes to be sure she was seeing well.
What was he doing here? Tasha thought.
To be honest, she had least expected him. He was sitting in the company of few friends that Tasha knew.
Did he invite his friends over for his son's graduation?... She was surprised.
One part of Tasha was happy with the developments. He cares for his son afterall. …. After ignoring him since the divorce saga.
He made eye contact with her and she scoffed confused on what to do with his stare. She decided to act unconcerned.
Then suddenly, he started coming towards her. She flinched at the sight. She decided to focus on the happenings instead.
She fed Aiden caprison from his bottle and tried to regain her composure. Declan really has this overwhelming demeanor.
From where Declan was sitted, he could see Tasha and her son… his son.
He felt a sense of responsibility. He felt a tinge of pride as Aiden won the game. He decided to greet his little boy.
He never knew his son's school. He was at the venue because of a invite from one of his newest business partners who had come with his wife to his daughter's party.
He found it petty but he decided to tag along as it made the man happy and the deal has a potential gain.
He was few steps away from where Tasha and Aiden were sitted when a waiter bumped into him and spilled some drinks on his carefully ironed business shirt.
