A girl came to their table holding a bottle.
“Hey Daniella… how have you been” the girl said showing her beautiful dentition.
“Ohh! Danica. It's been a while. How have you been?” Daniella said standing up to hug her.
They must have met at the club. The girl was wearing a beautifully cut dress with a cleavage. The dress stuck tightly to her body.
“Meet Tasha, my bestie”. Daniella said to the girl.
“Oh, you look so hurt. I'm Danica”. The girl said hugging Tasha. She smells of Tumeric spice and Tasha love the smell.
“Do you wanna drink”? The girl said dropping the bottle on the table”
“Briggs?!! Yes I wanna drink “ Daniella squealed.
She filled her glass that has the non alcoholic liquor they were drinking. She also filled Tasha's glass. Tasha glared at her.
“Come on, drink up. We are here to have fun “ Daniella said giving her a wink.
Tasha has low alcohol tolerance. Just a few glasses would make her drunk. She is always careful when drinking alcoholic liquor.
She decided to try. She took the glass into her mouth. It tasted so sweet. Wow. She downed the glass.
“Daniella too had downed her glass. What were those manufacturers thinking when they made such an alcoholic drink to be this sweet.
The girl excused herself and left.
“I need one more glass” Tasha said urging Daniella to pour her a glass.
Daniella filled the glass and filled hers too. Tasha downed it easily.
The girl came back as Daniella was about filling their glasses again.
“Come in, Briggs is so alcoholic. How many glass have you too drank?”.
“Just one more glass”Daniella said and filled their glasses again “ the drink has a good taste.
Tasha downed the glass easily again. Now she feels so good.
The girl took the remaining bottle and left.
Tasha screamed in excitement. She felt a rush of adrenaline. She felt like doing something heroic.
Josh came back to the table.
“Hey Daniella”
“Josh, where have you been? Don't you wanna talk about the job again?” Daniella asked.
“Oh sorry, I have to attend to some things. Let me get the file from my car” he said and exited.
Tasha felt a head heaving. What the hell is wrong with her?
“I'm feeling uneasy. I think we need to get out of here” Daniella said
The guy came back with a bag.
“ So actually, my boss needs someone who can help him as his assistant. He just signed a multimillionaire contract and he needs a lady to help with his personal life “ Josh said unfolding some documents.
“Okay… This is my qualifications..” Tasha taken out a file from her bag.
“You don't need to worry about qualifications. The job you would be doing is more than qualifications. He needs a personal assistant “ Josh said and Tasha nodded. Her head was throbbing. She just want to get back home.
“What about the interview?”
“We are in the interview already. We just have to agree on a few things. Josh said.
“You should read this. I need you to sign this after reading through. The earlier you sign this the earlier you have the job” Josh said tossing some documents towards her.
Tasha glanced at the documents and picked the pen. She doesn't understand that she was doing. Daniella was already fast asleep on the table.
She started signing the document, dabbing the ink on every spot that has a spot for signature. She signed on almost six places and pushed the file back at Josh.
“You are done! That was fast” Josh said.
“Done!” Tasha said dramatically making Josh jump. What is wrong with her? Josh thought.
“You should come to the address tomorrow. You have the job already” Josh said giving her a business card.
“Daniella woke up.
“Did I just heard that you have the job, Tasha?” She asked excitedly. Josh was surprised. He thought she was sleeping!
“Yes bestie! I do!! “ Tasha said shouting even more loudly.
Josh stared at them for a while. He had left them for less than an hour and they were behaving like this. Did they take something? He Wondered as he packed his bag and left.
“Bye girls” he said and exited the room.
