Josh jumped to his feet immediately making Tasha do the same. They both looked towards the door.
There Tasha saw a demi God walking in. A man in well tailored suits with sharp blue lazy eyes. He was very tall and handsome. Declan is a little where this man is standing.He was walking in with two men behind him.
“Good morning sir” Josh said immediately bowing. Tasha did the same.
He spared neither of them a glance and went to sit at the head table.
“You can sit” he said not looking up. Josh muttered a thank you and sat down nudging Tasha to do the same.
Tasha sat down. The two escorts were still standing. She feels so awkward.
“And where are you from” The boss asked. Josh spoke up immediately.
“She lives around here sir” Josh said and the boss shot him a cold stare. Gosh! Those eyes.
“I know she has a mouth she can use” The boss said.
Tasha caught the nudge and she spoke up.
“I am from here but I schooled in new York “ Tasha said avoiding to look at him. He was not even looking at her. He looks so overwhelming.
He did not say anything.
“I hope you know what your duties are already. You only have today to go home and prepare. I have to go now” he said and stood up exiting the room.
Tasha was cross. What a grumpy man. He literally looks down on everyone. She thought. His actions are a contrast to his beautiful face.
The two escorts followed him out and she turned to Josh.
“ I don't think I can do this Job” she said. “I don't even know my Job description” She lamented to Josh.
“There is nothing like that young lady. You already signed the contract. You should even be happy he approved of you. Do you even know how many ladies are dying to be in your shoes “ he said and she scoffed.
Does she looks like she cares? “I am f*****g not interested” she said.
“You are his personal assistant. Your job description and salary information has been sent into your account. Good luck Natasha Baltimore” Josh said standing up and leaving the room.
Natasha followed him.
“No, you can't do this to me, I want to resign “ she said but Josh ignored her and left for her room.
#Later in the evening.
I arranged my bags in Daniella's booth. She will be taking me to the CEO house this evening. I won't be needing my car for six months and Daniella had promised to rent it out for me.
It is going to be the most confusing six months of my life. I had initially disagreed with the agreements but when I saw my salary and other bonus attract to the post, I could not agree less.
Sixty thousand dollars in all. Ten thousand dollars for each month. Then cash gifts from trips and grand prizes. The offer is so mouth watering. Even Daniella asked me to accept the offer immediately.
Aiden will be with his grandma for a month and half. I will make preparations for his wellbeing after that.
Left for the boss's grumpy attitude, I don't have any reservation about the job. It looks good and attractive.
I had insisted on getting my things from the house even after Josh tried to convince me not to. I only feel comfortable in my own skin.
We got into the car and Daniella sped off. The next months is going to be the most dramatic six months of my life. I just know.
