#The next morning
Natasha woke up to a video call. She grabbed her phone and realized it is Aiden.
“Hey baby” she squealed immediately Aiden's image came up. Her baby is looking so chick.
“Mummy! “ He called happily smiling.
“How are you son?” She asked.
“I am fine. Mommy, grandma is taking good care of me” Aiden said on the phone.
“I can see that, who helped you with the call?” Tasha asked. Aiden does not know yet how to operate his iPad.
“ Jeremy, he's here mummy” Aiden said shifting and Jeremy s image show. Jeremy is one of his big cousins.
“Hey Jeremy” Tasha called. Immediately, the other kids came up in the phone wanting to talk to her.
“Hi auntie Tasha” they greeted.
“WOW! It's a full house over there” she giggled excitedly and chatted with the children one after the other. They all looked happy to see her.
“Bye babe, Mmuah” she said finally blowing Aiden a kiss. AIDEN ia such a lovely kid.
She decided to freshen up. She got into the jacuzzi and had a warm bath. She came back into the room to meet one of the maid waiting for her.
“Good morning ma'am, I came to inform you that breakfast is ready and you should come to the table. Mr Steve is at the table too”. The maid said.
“Alright”she answered. The maid bowed and left. Mr Steve? Gosh. She feels so anxious to face him.
She got dressed slowly hoping they would have been done with breakfast by the time she gets there. She took her bag and left the room.
To her surprise, there was Mr Steve sitting at the table, munching his meal.
“ Good morning sir” she greeted. He didn't reply. She sat down.
A maid came out of the kitchen. The table ia a very big one and they were the only one there.
I can serve myself “ she said to the maid who wanted to serve her.
“Okay ma'am “ The maid said and left. She served her meal and continue eating. Tha both of them focused on their meal in silence.
Just then,A man walked inside.
“Good morning sir” he greeted and Steve just nodded.
“Let us go”Steve said and took his phone from the table standing up. Tasha was surprised. She stood up too.
“Sir?” She called but Steve did not answer. He kept moving and the escort followed him.
Tasha grumbled and grabbed her bag. She hasn't even started eating.
She followed them outside. The car was already opened and Steve entered the back seat. She did not know what to do.
She stood for some seconds thinking of what to do.
“Will you come in and let us start going now?” Steve snapped from the back seat and Tasha flinched jumping into the car. Her heart almost flew out of her mouth.
She entered the middle seat and sat down. Her heart was thumping loudly. Steve has his eyes fixed on his phone.
The drive was smooth.
They soon got to the company. Steve got out of the car headed to his office. Tasha followed him. She still has not gotten the snap. It was so sudden.
She kept following him. The escorts followed too. Steve entered the elevator and his escorts followed him. Tasha also decided to join them. But just at the entrance, as she was about to enter, her legs wobbled and she fell forward crashing into Steve. The both of them landed on the floor.
