Tasha blinked hard as her face hit Steve's hard chest. What on earth is she doing. How did she even fall.
She felt one hand pulling her up. It was one of the escorts. She stood up and they helped Steve up. The look in his face is emotionless she can't describe it.
He stood up and dusted his body. Tasha is ashamed of herself.she wobbled to a corner.
They soon got to the executive floor and they came out. They all exited the elevator but Tasha made sure she maintained a safe distance from them. She doesn't know what he was thinking and was afraid he might hit her.
Remembering what Brenda told her the day before, he really has a bad temper. She decided to go talk to Brenda. They got to his office and Brenda was at the secretary's table typing on her computer.
“Good morning sir” she greeted immediately.
“Good morning Brenda” Steve answered and Tasha was surprised. So he answers greetings.
He entered his office and but his escorts did not go with him. They turned and left the room.
“Hey Brenda” Tasha called going over to meet her but Brenda stood up with some files in her hands.
“Tasha, I will be back soon, I have to see Mr Steve” she said and walked away.
Tasha was left alone again. She is confused.

#At the McKenna's company
Declan entered his office and his secretary stood up to greet him.
“Good morning sir” Jane greeted.
“Jane, how have you been” he answered smiling at her.
“Fine sir, you have a letter sir” Jane said and gave him a white envelope.
“Where is this From “ he asked curiously.
“I don't know sir. The security man gave it to me this morning. I just decided not to open it. It looks so important “ Jane said.
“It does looks so important “ Declan said staring at it. He entered his own section of the the office and sat down.
He opened the letter curiosity getting the better part of him. What is this letter? He thought.
He opened it and read the contents. He looks so impressed.
‘WHAT?! I just got shortlisted to compete for the MIGOS contracts?” This is unbelievable” he said as he checked the envelope. There it was.

This is a great news. The MIGOS group is the best group in the world and getting to work with them is an answered prayer.
He has been trying to partner with them in the past years but to no avail. More competent and influential companies were always ahead of him.
This is indeed a good news. He thought as he smiled broadly.

It is evening. It is time to go home. Tasha and Steve were on the way to the car. They were going back home.
All through the day, Tasha had avoided meeting with him and she kept her distance. Not like he often left the office anyways.
She had narrated what transpired between her and Steve to Brenda who laughed at her. Tasha was annoyed. She was serious about the issue.
“You should try to apologize. He might not take it but you have to clear the clumsy air away” Brenda and suggested and she decided to try it.
Brenda is a very lovely girl. She has a great personality that flowed along with anyone else. Tasha did not forget to take her number this time around.
They soon got to the car and the back door opened. Steve entered and sat down. The middle door was closed and none of the escorts attempted to open it for her. They both got into the front door.
Tasha got a hold of herself and entered the middle seat. She settled down.
The ride home was quiet and Tasha used it to process her thoughts.

They soon got home and the gates opened. It is actually an automatic gate. They entered the garage and the doors started opening. Tasha made sure Steve was already out of the car before she also slipped out through the side.
She ran after him. His escorts do not follow him into the house.
“Sir….”she called nervously. He did not stop.
Gosh! This is difficult than she envisioned.
“Actually sir, I am sorry for what happened in the morning. I feel very sorry. I promise to do better next time” she said hoping he would at least look at her.
He continued working and did not utter a word.
He is so grumpy. She thought and continued walking behind him.
They finally got into the living room and as he was about taking the stairs, she heard him say:
“Apology accepted, tomorrow don't keep me waiting” he said and took the stairs.
She stopped and look at him. This guy is a PSYCHOPATH!
