She picked a jotter and dropped it into the shopping cart. Aiden will need it for his exercises. Aiden likes to solve maths and he will be eager to show his grandmother how well he is doing at school.
The summer holidays are here and Aiden is going to his paternal grandmother's house. Declan's father is dead but he was a rich and successful man before he died. Declan is the one managing his company.
Getting pregnant for Declan was a mistake but getting married to him? That was Tasha's biggest mistake.
She should have beared the pregnancy alone in her house as living with Declan made no difference. The house? Cold,and empty with no love for them to share. Declan was never caring, it would not have been any different if she had not married him.
He only performed his financial obligations and that was all. Yes and s*x… coming home to her after a long day to have fun.
Back when they were still dating, Tasha has no real reason for dating him other than he was hot and a cool guy. She never found her ideal man.
All men are scum. Was the saying back then. And people were still marrying and having kids. To be honest, she has always hoped to marry one day and have very beautiful kids. She hopes to protect her kids every way possible.
But life has other plans. Just after completing her bachelor's degree, she found herself pregnant with a child she didn't want.
It all brought tears to her eyes everytime she remembers. More like she had staged the misfortunes in her own life.

“Tasha? She looked up to see daniella.wow.
Daniella was right in front of her with a shopping cart. They both weren't looking.
“I was hoping to call you after shopping. How have you been and how is the new graduate” Daniella asked tossing a pack of sardine into her cart.
“ I've been fine. I have been hoping to call you too. You know? About yesterday. Thank you so much for your support. I and Aiden appreciates it” Tasha said to a smiling Daniella.
“That's nothing, I mean who could I have supported if not you my friend. Come on Aiden is my baby and he deserves everything from me” Daniella said waving her off.
“By the way, I have a news for you. I learned about a job and it is in the communications department. I think you should try it” Daniella said.
“Really, what is the job about. I am willing to take any role in as much as it is my discipline. I need a job badly” Tasha said.
“I will come pick you in the evening. I have someone we can meet” Daniella said.
“ I have to drop Aiden at his grandmother's place today. He will be spending the hols with her. So I came to shop for some things…..”

The road to the McKenna's mansion was well cemented and has flowers planted to the sides. Hundred meters to their home gate was well cemented and groomed. The McKenna's are really wealthy.
Tasha could remember when Declan had brought her home after she vehemently refused to abort the pregnancy and Declan's mother somehow heard about it. She made Declan marry Tasha even though none of them had wanted the marriage
Declan's mother had welcomed her warmly and made her comfortable telling her to be free around her and come visiting any time she wants. Little did Tasha know that she did not like her. She was only acting up for the sake of the baby.
Tasha found out lately. She only wanted the baby. Declan has always been a promiscuous boy and she was glad when he finally had a baby. Tasha was just unlucky to be the pawn.
They got into the house and were ushered into the living room. Everywhere is looking beautiful as usual. Mrs McKenna came out looking pleased to see Aiden. They bonded immediately and Tasha was feeling unwanted at a point.
She decided to go to the restroom.
After easing herself, she washed her hands and was about leaving the toilet when she overhead two people talking, she decided to eavesdrop.
“Poor girl. I heard Declan has a girlfriend and would even be engaging her soon” the first voice said.
What! They were talking about Declan?
“Of course , Declan has no iota of respect for her. Less than six months out of the relationship and he is already in a relationship. That girl is just a piece of trash to them” another voice said.
Wait, were they referring to her? These crazy brats!! She fumed angrily
“No wonder she never looked happy. I even heard they never wanted the marriage, it was the pregnancy that brought them together” the first voice said again.
A movement stopped their gossip. Someone was approaching them”
“Cali, Mrs McKenna sends for you” Tasha could recognize the voice any where. That is Audrey. Their long time maid. Audrey has been in the house for more than four years now.
“Alright,I am coming” one of the two gossips said and they all dispersed.
