“Sister, take care at work.”
There was a quiet tenderness in Xeldon’s voice as he walked me to the door. I paused, offering him a small smile.
“You too. And don’t use the stove, you might forget to turn it off.”
He let out a soft laugh. “I won’t cook. I can use the microwave to heat the food.”
I shook my head, amused. “Good. I’ll leave everything to you. Call me if anything comes up.”
“Okay. Good luck at work.”
