Approximately 50 kilometres (31 miles) to the north-east of Mexico City stands the ancient ruined city of Teotihuacán. Built before the birth of Christ by a people whose history and culture have long been forgotten within the deep mists of time, and given its modern name by the Aztecs who called it the 'City of the Gods', Teotihuacán stands as a glorious and time-defying testament to its builders.
