Aiden’s POV
I boarded the first flight to my hometown the next morning because I wanted to talk to my family and I didn’t want to do it over the phone. It was a two hours flight. When I arrived, I got a cab to my parents house. It’s being over twenty years since I last visited this place. I, and my siblings didn’t really have a fun childhood here and of all places I don’t know after Alicia chose to get married here. During my ride home, I noticed that our old little town was no longer so little, it no longer had the ghetto look, I could see more modern houses, the roads were no longer bad, it no longer had a terrible stench, everywhere looked so beautiful and honestly in my thirty years of being alive I’d never thought that I’d like this place.
