"Come on Maddy hurry up we need to go back home soon and I don't want to be late at my own party, That wouldn't be appropriate forms lady like me ",Lizzy says as she hurried going out if the Super Market starting to head back home and she is kinda upset because she hasn't seen ' Sir Markus ' anywhere and she is hopping to see him ."I'm coming,I am coming ",I replied as I'm being left due to the fact that I'm carrying all the heavy things because she decided to not assist me and taking an advantage just because it's her birthday today."You know I wouldn't be left behind if you could just help assist me a little by also carrying some of the things Lizzy ",I continued talking as while walking with so much difficult and glaring at her a little .

As if I didn't say anything to her ,she just continues to walk away without helping me even a little while lifting her head up high .After one and a half hour finally I was at home and I'm really tired ,I think a little sleep is also needed but I will have to do that after I have taken a shower and put all the grocery bags away . While pushing the door open I'm surprised to see that the party has already started and many people have arrived for the party but what hurts me the most is that they have began the party without me, And since I was not needed i just headed to the kitchen to put the grocery away .Just as I'm about to enter the kitchen Sir Markus applied out of nowhere and stood on my way towards the kitchen and while looking down at me with a smirk ."Good evening Sir Markus , my dip apology I didn't notice you standing there ", I said as I bowed a little to show respect and greet .

"Good evening to you too Madeline and please don't apologise especially not to me we are friends remember ",Sir Markus says as he walks closer towards me while smirking at me with an unknown look in his eyes and seeing that a shiver runs down my spine . I have never really liked Sir Markus because he just creeps me out and I always have that uneasy feeling when he's around me like he's hiding many secrets about who he truly is behind that beautiful, charming face.

"Uhm I'm not sure about us being friends but what I'm sure about is that my sister really likes you and I don't think she would like it for us being close and you also do know that she fancies you Sir Markus",I said while moving backwards so that there's some space between us because he's really close for my liking I also don't feel comfortable since he's standing in my personal space ."Yes I do know that Lady Elizabeth fancies me but that's just the problem because i don't care about what or how she feels about me ,since someone else has already stolen those feelings away a long time now but she doesn't seem to notice that .Also I don't think i would be able to return your sister's feeling that she have towards me cause I have already set my eyes on someone else.

Sir Markus says while walking towards me again to close our distance but he was interrupted by my mother's voice .

"Sir Markus it's a great pleasure to see you here and I'm glad that you decided to come to Lizzie's birthday, I'm pretty sure that she will also be happy to see you here ", Mother says as walks past me and stand next to Markus while giving hima biggest smile I have ever seen ."Good evening to you too Mrs Johnson and I'm also glad that I did came here to also wish Miss Elizabeth a happy birthday and Mrs Johnson did I mention that you look really lovely in that dress I almost didn't recognise you it also suits you very nicely and it makes your eye colour to pop out and look brighter."Markus says to mom as he walks closer to her while taking her hand and kiss it at the back and giving her the most charming smile ,And if it was any other girl I'm sure that she would have fainted by now .But on the other hand I can't help myself by feeling disgust about their actions in front of me because my mother is also busy blushing none stop.

Not wanting to continue standing there and keep staring at them ,I just decided to excuse myself away from them to put this heavy grocery in thier rightful places and after this I will head upstairs to take a quick shower and come back to join the party.And they didn't even notice that I was walking away from them since they are talking to each other like I'm not standing right in front of them ,After some few minutes i was already done putting the grocery away and I all that needs to be done is for me to you take a shower I'm sweaty all over my body .At that moment mother walks in the kitchen looking all angry and she just walks straight towards me, all of a sudden she just slaps me hard on my left cheek that even tasted my own blood inside my mouth.

"How dare you flirt with Sir Markus a person who is totally of high rank than you are in my house ,on your sister's birthday out of all people Madeline",she shouts as her face turns deep red with anger while busy moving back and forth in the kitchen."Didn't i tell you to Not cause any unnecessary drama today, I told you to stay in the shadows but No ! you just don't listen do you Maddy . You even made Sir Markus give you his attention, Are You That Desperate For Attention Madeline !! ",she continues shouting at me for something I didn't even do and she's accusing me of something this terrible.

"Honey , Madeline what's going on here what's with all the shouting that I'm hearing Marline and why is your cheek red Madeline what happened ", father asks as he runs to the kitchen with a worried look on his face .

"Come on answer me what's going on here",he repeat his questions and starting to get mad himself.

"Dear I'm so mad at Madeline for doing what she has done on my daughter's birthday with Sir Markus at the hallway of our home and she's just a disgrace to this family ",mother says as she started to fake cry on my father's shoulder ."What happened between Madeline and Sir Markus did something wrong happen are you okay Maddy did Markus do anything wrong to you ",father asks with a worried expression on his face while looking at me up and down checking for any injuries ."Father I'm okay you don't have to worry at me I just need to go to my room and take a shower first than I will lay down for a while , Right now I'm just really tired but you can enjoy the party thou ".
