Plot Outline
EXPOSITION: Marilyn is a devoted wife and mother who just wants to improve her family's financial state, she trusts her husband with a business idea and he trusts his so called friend who he should not have told, simply because he did not value his wife. Now his friend betrays him, steals the idea, leaving his marriage shaking, his wife on life support and his world in pieces.
INCITING INCIDENT:To solve these problems, Tom has no choice but to take a loan from a drug Lord, his childhood friend who has always felt abandoned by him in his time of need and who will stop at nothing to hurt him in return. He sees this loan as an opportunity to end him for good.
RISING ACTION: Marilyn survives and gets to find out what her husband has done to save her life, she forgives him and begins to work on a means to pay back the loan or save her man from this Mafia boss, not knowing about the vendetta he has in mind.
CLIMAX:The tension explodes when Marilyn finds incriminating evidence against Mr Sharp, the drug Lord and Mafia boss, she takes it to law enforcement without her husband's knowledge, now they are after him and want his head, for there has been a bounty on it for years. What Marilyn does not know is that her husband feels indepted to his childhood friend for abandoning him all those years back and wants to protect him, even if it means losing his life.
FALLING ACTION: The goose chase is terrific, like Marilyn running after her own tail but unable to catch it because the tail will rather not be caught.
DENOUEMENT:The story concludes with Tom being caught in the crossfire between the drug Lord and law enforcement, while Marilyn wonders where she went wrong in trying to save his life. Will he survive or will he drag her down with him?
