The first meeting

Aurora’s POV

After minutes of coming up with the perfect plan, I knew nothing could stop me. I quickly got out of my bed and ran to my closet. I packed my gown, lingerie, and a bikini or two.

I had exactly 1 hour to get to the docks or else I could kiss the yacht goodbye.

I quickly changed into my comfy spandex buttercream shorts and top. I pulled my blonde hair into a slick ponytail and admired myself before strapping my bag and climbing out my window.

Other girls would have been scared considering my rooms’ on the 7th floor but not me because I had done this all the time.

After slipping on two accounts I had finally set foot on soil. I dusted the invisible dust while walking to my Porsche when I stumbled into a tree. Wait.. the trees are all at the front view of the house unless..

Oh God, have I been busted..?

I am soo dead..

“ Going somewhere trouble..?”

Wait.. I’ve never heard this voice before unless.. he is an assassin and I just stepped into his trap.

“ I asked a question..going somewhere?”

Damn his voice I could feel something shake inside of me and I was sure I was going to die again. What is happening today, as I have had enough already.

“If you don’t mind get out of my way I need to be somewhere in the next 43 minutes so move “

I finally bring myself to look at this stranger and Oww my sexy ass pants he is hot

I have seen my fair share of men but he stands out in the most exceptional way. Well I guess I could die a happy woman because I was killed by a handsome man but at the very least I was not going down without a fight

“You know you didn’t answer my question so if you don’t want me calling Kennedy to tell him I just saw his daughter jump out of a window then you better start talking” The handsome man in an all-black outfit and jet-black hair said again. And he just referred to my father by his first name no one refers to him using his first name not even his friends and this got me thinking who really is this man at all?

I changed my mind about what I said earlier he is a stupid jerk face.

“ now listen to me, I am in no mood to banter words with you so if you don’t mind get out of my way before I do something you’re going to regret dearly” I tuck my hands under my breast and give him the sternest look I could master but it seems he wasn’t going to budge so I did the only thing I knew could take him down and out of my way. I aimed at his crotch and just when I was about to knee him he grabbed my knee, pulled me closer grabbed me, and threw me over his shoulder as though I was a rugged doll.

He smelled of dark wood, expensive cologne which I couldn’t place my mind on what cologne it was.

“ Put me down Mister I am not a toy to be carried around if you don’t put me down I’m going to bite you on your shoulder and make sure I leave a scar on you” I continued kicking, throwing punches on his back, and doing whatever I could to be free but none of it was working.

He smirked the freak literally smirked after I told him I was going to scar him

In conclusion, he is sick in the head.

“Now listen to me.. You are going to be quiet and I am going to put you down and allow you to go back to your room to prevent unnecessary drama from you and your parents but if you try anything funny you’d not like what I’m going to do to you am I clear?” He stares at me but due to the poor lighting here, I’m unable to picture his expression.

“Whatever” I turn around pretending to return to my room and when I’m a few meters away I start running.

The gate was coming into view and I could literally smell victory. Before I could even get to the security checkpoint that infuriating man was there again!!

“I was a fool to think I could trust you. You are indeed trouble “

He once again wraps his arm around the back of my knees and throws me over his left shoulder as he takes long strides to what I’m guessing is the main entrance to the living room. Was I really that weightless??

I knew I was in deep s**t when the doorbell rings and Maria our oldest housekeeper opens the door and I see the other guards trying to stifle their laughs

“Go ahead and laugh because it’s funny and I swear you’ll all be fired go ahead let me hear a single sound from any of you..oh.. nothing that what I thought” I roll my eyes at them as Maria signals him to go in

“Can you put me down now I’m not going to escape I’m already in my house and also thanking you for making a joke out of me to my staff asshole ”

“ No”

As if on cue I hear a loud gasp from my parents

“Aurora Celeste Kingston how could you? Your dad and I told you needed to stay home until the security agency came why would you run off like that?”

“Calm down mom I’m back here at least thanks to Hulk here” I retort with an eye roll

“ Thank you, Cross, for coming under short notice. I believe you’ve already met my daughter Aurora and this is my wife Venice.

I finally lift my head to look at him properly since we met and if I thought he was hot then he is definitely hell at this point because screw me over he was like a gently crafted beauty. I suddenly felt like looking at him for free should definitely be illegal. For some jerk ass who had totally ruined it, it should be illegal to look this good.

He was well hot I must admit but what caught my attention were his eyes. They were steel grey with a dust of blue in them and were impossible to read and could totally ice hell to the brink.

“ Are you done staring?”

It was at that point I knew why I hated him and now I hate him more

“ I wasn’t “ I scoff while rolling my eyes hard.

“ Well since you’re here already, Aurora, Damien here is going to be your bodyguard until further notice and he’s going to be around you anywhere and everywhere understood?”

“But daddy..I don’t need a babysitter especially this grinch I can take care of myself”

“No buts I’ve spoken and that’s final try to be mature for once in your life”

Hearing that I rush up the stairs to my room and bang the door louder this time.

If Dad won’t get the Grinch to leave before Christmas I would definitely help the town and get him out asap I would be needing volcanic areas and fast
