Mac texted me today! It was really brief, but it was so nice to have some contact from him. He wanted to nail down our plans for next week and asked if I could join him for a drive down to Key West. I gladly agreed to go, and now I am super excited. We are going Monday through Wednesday. I wish we could go for the full week, but maybe we’ll get to spend the remaining days tucked away in my apartment or on his yacht.
I wonder what miraculous feats it takes for Mac to take time off from being a business mogul during the week. I bet it’s not easy for someone of his caliber to take a vacation, although he’s the boss and should be able to take off whenever he wants to. In any case, it’s impossibly sweet that he’s arranging his important work around my menial job.
