“Ten minutes tops is all you get,” I said. We set off again, heading towards one of the many recreation rooms. I remembered that a couple of them had jukeboxes. I wondered what music would be available for selection. You can play any music you want, I told myself. You don’t need a radio, mp3 player or anything else. You can make things happen. “How do you feel about a slap dance?” I asked. Drake gave me a sidewards glance. “Did you say —” “I said slap dance, not lap dance. You know, like the Germans and Bavarians do? Lots of thigh slapping and hand clapping.” “I don’t know that dance,” Drake replied, his smile dropping. “Nor do I care for the sound of it.” “It’ll take me about two minutes to teach you. Go on, it will be fun.” “I had thought a slow dance, like you do with the angel.
