Eva is coming and Mondo has a three-day pass. Friday the matadero comes for the billy, takes him behind the garage, and does his business. The meat, minus one haunch—payment for the matadero—is stored in the basement entrance until Saturday, when Laureano starts the fire in the brick grill he built beside the garage.
