CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR
Sitting at home with a glass of red wine in her hand, Aggie decided to take the plunge. Opening up her laptop, she took a swig as she waited for it to start. Once the wifi signal lit up, she opened her browser and logged in to f*******: just as her phone rang.
“Hey, Aggie,” Christie said on the other end of the line.
“Hey, Sis, everything okay?” Aggie asked.
“Yeah, just put the kids to bed and thought I’d ring to see how Mum got on in the shop today?”
Chuckling, Aggie replied, “Pretty good, actually. She’s very good with the clients, especially the older ones. She’s got a knack of putting them at ease. She even sold a few Sonic Flutterers.”
“Holy crap,” Christie laughed. “I never would have seen that coming.”
