“Bastard,” Coco seethed through gritted teeth. “How could he?”
Christie shook her head.
“Look guys, I’m fine about it. I just wished he’d have told me the truth, that’s all. It’s been a few months anyway. He could have met her and married her within a few months right?”
Both Coco and Christie looked at her and shook their heads.
“Well, it doesn’t matter. It was just a fling anyway. It was fun while it lasted.”
“Yeah but he was engaged to be married…to another woman,” Christie sighed.
“Who was engaged?” Trixie piped up as she walked into the shop just before nine the following morning.
