CHAPTER FORTY-SIX She was dressed in a nineteen-twenties flapper dress, complete with pearls, and was doing the Charleston dance with Petunia, who was about the same age as her now. The two of them were giggling while the music abruptly changed. It was no longer the wonderful tunes from yesteryear, but was an annoying buzzing sound. Suddenly coming to, Aggie sat up and rubbed her eyes. She looked at the clock on her bedside table and noticed that it was twenty past two in the morning. The buzzing continued. Confused for a second, she realised it was the sound of her intercom.
