CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN “I can’t believe it’s been two whole years since we opened Aphrodite’s Closet,” said Aggie as she took the cake box from her mother and put it on the side in the kitchen of her flat. “A lot has happened in the past twenty-four months, dear,” Trixie said with a smile. “I’m so happy for you,” she said, hugging her daughter tightly. “Thanks for baking a cake for the occasion, Mum.” “It’s a big day,” she smiled, hugging her daughter. “Now, where’s your dress?” “In the bedroom,” Aggie grinned. “Do you want to see it?” “No, I’ll wait until you’re wearing it. I can’t wait to see it on you though. You’re going to look beautiful. I’m so proud of you, sweetheart.” “Thanks, Mum. Where’s Dad?” “He’s waiting for you downstairs with the girls. I’ll go down and wait with them.
