I managed to get lost on my way home, but I didn’t mind. It gave me time to process, try to come to terms with all of the information I was just given. I wasn’t even thinking straight enough to use the cars gps system. Reality hasn’t quite caught up with me again, hopefully it will. Ironically, it was the Kline & Co. tower that eventually came into view and gave me some sense of direction - its lights twinkling high in the night sky. I remember my first day in the company. I was so proud to be walking into that building - the tallest in the city of Ardarra. That seems like a lifetime ago now. This past week feels like a fever dream. I can’t help but feel like my life will be separated into before and after this week. A pivotal few days that will change everything.
